Broken Arrow Golf Club - West Short Link

Keep on the fairways boys & girls! The greens r good, fairways r nice, but our biggest complaint was the roughs!!! The grounds keerpers need to lower there blades , & pick up the grass clippings! If you hit just off the fairway left or right chances are you might loose your ball!!! I'm a pretty good golfer & I lost 4 balls in 10 holes!!! And all 4 of those balls were totally findable , now I know the rough is called rough for a reason , but every time you hit just off the fairway, &. Spend way too much time looking for your ball that's totally ridiculous !!! It wasn't only me that had this problem, it was all people in front of us too!!! And because everybody was looking for their ball it totally killed the pace of play!!! It took my wife & I 4 plus hours to do 10 holes, & after 10 we bailed out packed up our clubs and went home!! So if go there defently go thru golf now or make sure u get a cheep rate, cause is not worth $60!!!!! Just sayin

Overall not a bad course. Friendly staff.

Pros: reasonably priced. Conveniently located off 355. Grounds were in good condition. Good rolling/hilly course. Back 9 (east) was a fast pace.

Cons: tight fairways. Front 9 (south) from holes 3-9 were extremely slow. Many 4-somes ahead of us. Impossible to play through them all. No beverage cart in operation.

Youth friendly, good rotation with 27 holes. 5 rating out of 10 for challenging. Some fairways are tight, hit um straight.

Played here yesterday and found pro shop staff to be very rude. When my cart broke down on 2nd hole I called pro shop. Jared couldn't seem more annoyed. Not once did he apologize for the inconvenience. I walked remainder of hole 2, all of 3, and most of 4. Took over 30 mins to get a new cart and the person who brought the cart out never apologized either. When I returned my cart key for $1 deposit I was never asked about my round, thanked for choosing Broken Arrow, or invited back.

Staff could use some basic customer service training.

I've been playing Broken Arrow for years. The difficulty is moderate to difficult based on where you play from. Not a lot of trees, but water comes into play often.

It is a good course for serious golfers and once-a-year hackers as well.

Personally I don't think the experience warrants the full price rates, but discounts are readily available. I jump on the opportunity to play if I can get a solid deal.

Slow play, multiple rangers out on the cousre but didn't do anything about slow play. Had 4 groups on a hole at one point. Course wasn't marked well for yardage. Gps taken out of carts. Wouldn't go back.

Range was horrible. Rough was over 8" long and staff was not friendly. Will never return to this goat patch.

Definitely love the set up of this course.

Have to be able to control your ball flight to succeed here. But hey when youre down wind and can let it rip, its SO FUN

I mean theres nothing better than taking on a 560 yard par 5 and hitting driver-5 iron to get on in two

Play here and enjoy the whole round. Challenging holes and rough is "rough". You better drive the fairways or else be scrambling for par.

Its super narrow and residential buildings were surrounding the whole course. About 5 homes were getting repaired from paint to the roof (noticed visually and bit noisy). If it was under $28 its good to go. Personally I wont go back unless I have to.

For the price Broken Arrow is a very good track. Pace of play was very good as well. Greens were in great shape and fairways were ideal condition.

Was a good round tee'd off as a twosome and paired up with another couple on the second nine holes. Players in front of us were a little slow but not the courses fault

The course is in great shape and I'm still not sure about the 2 different pins/greens on the north course but it is a nice course.

The Staff was the worst. They were fertilizing the greens while we were playing and the guy doing it was basically following us around the east course and waiting by the green while we hit then fertilizing after us. It was very annoying. They were mowing the whole time we were out there as well and they did not stop mowing while you were swinging. Not on the tee box, not in the fairway, not by the green. Also quite annoying. When I complained afterwords (I didn't ask for anything just recommended they don't continue the practice) I was shrugged off. I may be back but only if the price is right.

The course was in great shape and the pace a play was fantastic (under 4 hours with an early tee time)

never played here before but decided to give it a go. The course has a variety of challenging holes and more simple holes. The conditions are very good with the greens rolling very well. Would definitely play here again!

The course rating is listed as fair only because the course had a heavy rain the day and evening before which left some bunkers full of water and some casual water on the fairways. However , the greens were in excellent shape and the round was very enjoyable.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had not played the course for a couple of years however, plan on playing it more often going forward.

Broken Arrow has become my goto weekday whim course. Pace of play is usually good with rangers helping things along. Course is the right amount of challenge and is usually better than average upkeep. Rate is fair as well/

Still not a fan of the two flag system but thats nitpicking.

The north course has 2 flags on each green which was odd. There is no GPS on the carts and all there is is an overview of the course on the back of the scorecard. It took us 5 hours to play 16 holes before we had to leave and we were only a twosome. It was 90 degrees out and there was no beverage cart at all it was really ridiculous and on the north course there was only water on #7. It is not worth the time or the hot deal. Skip this place.

It rained half the round but the course really held up under the rainy conditions during the round. I would have liked to have played it under better weather conditions, but it was a good test for my game to fight through the rainy conditions and score well in the round. Greens and farways were still kind of firm with all the rain the course took on during the week.

Overall this course is of great value. It is my understanding that it has changed hands and the new owners opted not to keep the cart GPS system which is a major drawback. Most of the yardage markers are unreadable. Paint by the numbers is needed. The overall condition is good with some brown spots on some of the greens. The sand traps are not good. Mostly mud or hard dirt. Upgrades are needed here.

No beverage cart was seen on this beautiful day and the check in person had to double as the grill person at the halfway booth.
