Tour 18 Dallas

What a beautiful course. Yes there are some brown patches but not enough to get all emotional over. Summer was brutal on north Texas courses and apparently Tour 18 had a water well fail over the summer. The greens are in beautiful condition. The holes were challenging and so much fun. It was a great experience to play some of the most renowned holes in golf. The staff are all great all in a beautiful setting. The flock of geese landing in the lake on #3 was just a nice addition to this beautiful course.

All the reviews are accurate. They lost the fairways and almost every single hole has big dead patches. The bunkers are all in very poor condition as well.

The positives are the greens are in good shape. And the staff was very friendly.

I’ve played it many times over the years. I took someone out who had never played and was embarrassed at the conditions and wasting their time/money.

We played midweek. It wasn’t worth $64. But I would be livid if I paid the weekend rate. They really should disclose the conditions or price it for the conditions.

Hopefully there are plans to grow everything back next spring. It’ll be a major project to get this course up to snuff. It’s going to be a major project. Huge parts of every hole needed to resodded/seeded. The bunkers need to be redone.

It’s a shame. The layout is conducive to being as nice as The Tribute. But it’s honestly worst than Riverchase right now. But at least Riverchase is cheap.

Definitely not worth the $100 green fee. Majority of fairways are dirt. Hit it in the fairway pick the ball up go find a patch of grass throw it down and play from there. Not worth the effort or money! Unless you want to throw a Benjamin down the drain I would suggest playing River Chase same conditions but $60 less expensive.

I have played this course several times before, however, on 11/16, the condition of the course was in terrible condition, half of the fairway was all torn up, and it felt like hitting on the dirt.

"I played on this course for the third time this year and it is still in very bad condition. The fairways are in very poor shape, as well as the bunkers. Clearly, there is a terrible lack of maintenance. I do not recommend it."

The course concept was good and you could recognize the featured holes but the course was in horrible shape and the round was well over 5 hours with no rangers.

Did you kill many of the fairways? This great golf course needs some TLC, reseed or something!

The greens and tee boxes were in great shape but the fairways were very spotty. Lots of wet patches, which shows they’re working to make things better. Overall, it’s about the experience of playing PGA style holes. It’s a gorgeous area and very fun to play.

No grass in fairways all the bunkers are full of water and they still charging 100 green fee!!! I will not be back.

It's unfortunate that this place has fallen on hard times again but its unplayable. Fairways are gone, bunkers are shot. Greens were actually ok and pace was fine but its not worth the drive and the $$$ until its fixed.

Course I was in the worst shape I’ve seen it ever. I normally play this course 8 to 12 times a year since it’s opened.

Yesterday, the fairways were burned out and dry, but yet muddy and soggy at the same time.

The greens are in good shape, and really fast. 95% of the bunkers were unplayable.

What is not worth $100 to play.

This course used to be fantastic many years ago. Played it twice this past year. Both times fairways were terrible. I expect a course like this to maintain the fairways during droughts like other courses in DFW. Shame!

I like it here, it’s a nice track, decent clubhouse and food and is reasonable to play. But right now it’s dreadful, the course took a beating in the summer drought. Very little fairway worth playing off. Hate saying this, but I wouldn’t go back till the fairways improve. I will be back, I like it here and the staff is great. But let it heal, unless it’s a perfect day and you want to just practice play.

Whether it's a fairway or a bunker, there's no grass everywhere and I don't understand why it's so bad.

The replica holes were a great experience and made the course challenging, but worth the price. The fairways on some holes were dry in some areas but overall course conditions were great. I would recommend this course to anyone and I'll be looking to go back soon.
