Bridlewood Golf Club
About
Designed by D.A. Weibring, Bridlewood Golf Course features a spectacular combination of links-style and traditional features as it snakes its way through the flat farmlands and terrain that seem to be specifically created for golf.
The front nine isn’t as rugged as the back, and its first few holes feel more residential than the rest of the course. Two holes stand out. No. 8 is all carry over water at 195 yards, followed by the monster -- a par 4 that demands one heck of a tee shot to avoid the water left and out-of-bounds right in finding the skinny fairway. Next comes a long, long approach that will have you begging for a bogey.

Course is in great shape.
Enjoyed our round of golf at Bridlewood. Like the new greens. Course is in great shape. Pace of play was outstanding.
Great round/price/track for middle of summer
Bridlewood is much better maintained than most/all tracks around town this time of year. Still had great fairways and traps even with the brutal Texas heat. Doesn't hurt to get a $20 hot deal on golf now to play a great course. No problems with getting done (two players) in under 3 hours and beverage carts were available when needed.
Overall Good Experience.
The Course was fun, challenging at times and not your average course. The fairways were great, the rough was difficult and the sand was finely raked. At the time of my round the greens were firm and sanded, making things interesting when trying to stop a ball on the green.
I will be playing this course again soon.
Great Course
Great Course...Great Condition...Great Staff...Only knock is that it's a little overpriced for what it is. I would feel comfortable paying 60 to play there...not 85.
Always a good experience out here
Nice Course. Fairways in great shape. Green paces were good and consistent, little bumpy, but nothing horrible.
Very fast and firm greens !
I booked an early tee time and got it for under $30 bucks. The greens were firm and fast. Awesome time
A fun course in great shape and surprisingly not crowded Labor Day weekend
I've played Bridlewood 7-10 times over the past 2 years and always enjoy the course. The greens were in excellent shape this time, and I was pleasantly surprised how few people were out there on Sunday during Labor Day weekend. Normally pace of play is decent, but it was great this time with nobody in front of or behind us until we caught up to a 4-some at the 15th hole. Cart girls came by 4 times during a short 3:45 round. Staff was very friendly and got us on to the course quickly. Overall, a very pleasant round.
Excellent Daily Fee Track outside Dallas.
Range and practice area is nice, with two chipping/pitching greens with sand traps, and one dedicated putting green circa the starter and 1-Tee.
Course is in great shape from tee to green, and the greens (which I believe were redesigned not long ago), were in excellent shape. Aeration was about a month ago, but they rolled very true, and there are no holes. Another 2-3 weeks and they will probably be as good as they will ever be, which is pretty good.
Some fun water carries and interesting holes with different looks.
Overall, excellent course.
Play in the a.m to avoid the Texas heat and slow play.
Nice course at HOT deal prices, but not worth full fees
Had a great time and I'm looking forward to another round here. There's a crowd of regulars that go off early and think they're on tour playing a money game that slowed things down, but it was still fun. Greens were fast and overall condition was great.
Very good track. More bang for the buck! Greens were fast and true, I love it. Course condition is great, lots of grass in the fairways.
Great Track, Good staff, good food and I will play it again soon.
Greens are in great shape.
Haven't been on this course in some time, but very excited to get back. It did not disappoint. The course in very good shape and looked beautiful. The only issue that I had with the course was on #5, next to the range. I had hit my tee shot to about 60yds from the green, just right of the fairway, and I had an extremely hard time finding my ball do to all the range balls in the area. They really need to clean that area up more often. Other than that, course was very good. Really enjoyed the round.
Good course I have played there several times before.
Issue: Nowhere in the advertisement or my E-mail from GolfNow indicated that the special was for 9 holes only. We found out when we were teeing off from the starter. The person at the front desk did not even tell us. Four other groups had the same issue that had tee times close to ours (not knowing it was for 9 holes only). The person in the pro-shop was very dismissive about the issue. He says it happens all the time people not kowing it was for 9 holes. I asked him to show me where it says nine holes only and he could not find it on our e-mail. We then had to pay the full amount to play 18 holes. Was not a fun way to start the day off. The golf course and GolfNow need to make it clearer.
We had been looking forward to finally getting to play Bridlewood
We had been looking forward to finally getting to play Bridlewood but was a tad disappointed that holes 1-6 had wet sand on the greens. But other than that we had a wonderful time and look forward to getting back when things are up to par!
Bridlewood in good shape
The course was in very good shape considering the heat at this time of year. The greens has been punched about one - two weeks earlier. The holes were almost covered and really didn't affect play. This week the greens should be back to normal. Always a good time at this course.
fantastic course
really enjoyed playing this course. great staff and fantastic course. greens were in wonderful shape.
Greens were horrible
The greens had been punched but not filled and it was like playing Plinko. They let a 5 player group ahead of our 2 player group so play was slow. We were forced to skip holes to play through. Good thing we got a good deal on this round because it was not even worth the money we paid.
Great course
The course was in great shape. The fairways where easy to hit off of and the greens held the chip shops. The greens were plugged and over sanded so we counted puts that rimed the holes as the ball direction could easy move due to the plugs. The staff was very friendly.
Bridlewood .... PLAY IT !
Great course for any level. Super friendly and accommodating staff both on the course and in the clubhouse. The offer deals on line at several locations making it well worth the money. I played on a Thursday morning for $29 through a Golf Now offer. I can't wait to go back!
This course has a great staff
Good course, friendly staff. We played when they were punching the greens on the back nine, so we played the front twice and they gave us each a free round we could use at another time, that makes me want to come back, they care about their customers.
Golf Now listing - Bridlewood
Golf Now listed this tee time and price at a discounted rate so we took it. So did several others in the club house that morning - only to find it was a nine hole special. The pro shop took care of us only after all of us consistently said it was not written on the web site nor the e-mail confirmation, but they made us pay more to play 18. It felt like a "bait and switch" tactic that makes me a little more leery of using Golfnow in the future. We don't need that frustration at 7:15 am.
