Great
Great course, one little thing, not always Easy to find the next hole
Hidden Gem
Vastly improved course that will get much better in drier conditions.
Course in good shape, great amenities
Had a very enjoyable round despite desperate rain. Course is in great condition, although no buggies allowed when the ground was so wet. Very little flooding on the course. Nice sized pro shop and plenty of food options onsite as it shares grounds with a hotel. There was a deiving ramge and good practice area too. Can't fault it
General
At present heavy sanding of fairways throughout course otherwise it was fine challenge for any golfer
First round played in Ireland
Lovely course with beautiful surroundings. Greens excellent. Course gets very soft quickly when it rains and footing can be slippery. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our experience.
Great value quality golf course
Played a lonesome but enjoyable round at Dargan Castle course. The greens were in Brilliant condition and played great. As good as Ballyliffin this time of year. The fairways were a little damp in places but we'll worth a visit.
Good layout...very wet
Course in good nick and nice layout with some great holes. Index 1 and hole after it...a driveable par 4 were 2 lovely holes. Greens in good nick but slow on the day..that's ok for a month morning. Fairways verythromycin wet in places and lost couple of plugged balls in fairway and semi. Price of 12 euro was great but would have been disappointed if we had paid more with how wet the place was.
Would look forward to playing again in high summer.
Only people on course so 18 holes in 3 hours for 2 of us!
Great golf
This must be one of the best hidden gems in the country, rat this course better then Druids Glenn, carton house.
Great design and lay out.
Could be really good
A super design with a great range of holes to suit all abilities. Nice pace and true roll on the greens. The one problem is the land does not drain the rain that has fallen and we played in the summer(normal Irish summer). This course may not be worth playing in winter. Besides the drainage well worth a try.
