The Golf Club At Fossil Creek

The golf course is in exceptional condition and the way it is maintained is unbelievable. The actual maintenance staff is the most courteous and considerate staff I have ever seen.

The amenities are great with beverage carts maintained by wonderful friendly and beautiful women. Will be returning to play here many times to come.

I like this course. It is a fairly easy course that can cause you some trouble if you get greedy. Play fairways and greens and you will have no problems. The greens were in pretty bad shape after aerification, but to be fair, Golfnow had an aerification alert, so we knew what we were getting into. My only knocks are the course goes out until 18, no stop by the clubhouse at 9 and the price can get pretty steep without a hot deal.

Back in DFW visiting for a few days and found great rate on GolfNow ($25). What a bargain for this course, keep it a secret. I will play this course every chance I get now when I'm back in DFW. Only negative is if you don't like courses routed thru houses, this course might not appeal to you. But the back nine is FANTASTIC! One of the best stretches of holes on ANY course (public, private, etc...). There's a little Amen Corner stretch of holes around a quarry lake on the back nine that compares to any course. Great variety of holes. You will use every club in your bag, not just the Driver and PW. Looks like maybe 20 years ago it was a high-profile type golf club, but with the growth of DFW and all the newer courses it's kind of been forgotten. That's fine with me, more great golf deals to be had here. This is an excellent, well kept course.

Had no problems with check in, tee time was at 238 pm got there at 2 and got the keys and said I could go ahead so no complaints there.... the course was lush and very scenic definitely doesn't feel like a Texas course. Only complaint is I play from the white tees and it seems like there's lots of bends, turns, creeks, canyons, and such about 200 yards from the tee so kind of takes driver out of your hands unless u can carry 220 yards or more... should've switched to blue tees at some point.... overall very nice, challenging, and reasonably priced course I would play again

The course is in great shape, one of the best I've played this year. There is a beverage cart working the course even on a weekday. The pro shop attendants are a little dismissive toward Golf Now Users ( they are pushing their ARCIS membership club). Overall can't be beat for a Hot Deal price.

Fossil Creek is in our "regular rotation." On this day the course was in PERFECT condition...fairways AND greens. One of the great things about this course isn't even ON the course...following our play at FC we ALWAYS stop for lunch at Shady Oak BBQ....

Lived by the course for nearly a year and have not played it until this weekend. Great course design and love the challenge of the holes by the water. Only thing was pace of play was slower than what I am use to, had to have the group behind us play with us because the group ahead was SLOW but not the courses fault. Will definitely be back to play this course again.

Greens were fast and course was in perfect condition. Ropes and Stakes were a little loose though.

Playing this Palmer course was a fantastic experience and well worth the drive from where I was staying Dallas. The course is one of the best I've played in over 30 years -- unique features, great greens and immensely playable. The scenery was great and the fairways were in fantastic condition. I played in under 3 hours as a single on a Sunday morning -- fantastic pace of play. Arnie's Grill was small with a fairly limited menu.

I booked a 6:30AM tee time on a Monday only to run into a tournament on hole 10 that completely stopped my pace and no one at the club house mentioned the tournament until I was on hole 7. I was through 9 holes in just over and hour - once I hit the tournament it took me 30 minutes to complete 2 hole. I had to pick up and leave - for 50.00 I should be able to complete my round being the first one teeing off.

Course was busy - it was a Sunday - it has a fun layout. Some fun risk/reward shots over creeks and ponds. Greens were in great shape.

Overbooked which is very typical for this course. Great course conditions, just hard to enjoy when your round is 5 hours

Very pleased with condition of course as well as pace of play. Great course layout and you almost forget you're in Texas.

Golf course has a lot of variety. Cannot hit driver off ever tee. Greens were good and smooth, traps had plenty of sand.

This was my second time to play this course and it is has been great both times. Tough course that makes you think off of the tee which I love. Can't bomb drives off every tee. Even on the par 5's you have to think about where you are going to have to place your shots. The course is in great condition and the greens are great.

Well maintained course. Excellent greens. Layout is challenging but a good score is possible.
