The Golf Club At Fossil Creek

Always a fun track and it's nice to see the course conditions shaping up. Greens are rolling well, fairways are in good shape, and most of the bunkers are well maintained. Very happy with the bounce back after winter and early spring. I'll be back again soon!

Played Fossil Creek today and while the course was as nice as I remember it, the carts were in the worst shape I have ever seen on ANY course I have EVER played. They were in ridiculously bad shape. First, no coolers on any cart that we could see. Second, the windshield has been broken off the cart. In addition, the seats were torn with stuffing exposed and the drivers sand bottle holder had been broken off the cart. Finally, while driving over one the bridges, the plastic announcement holder broke, crashed down into the cart and cut my hand. Seriously, the WORST carts I have ever seen. Makes you wonder if they don’t care about keeping the cards maintained, how soon will it be before the course goes down.

This is by far the best public daily fee course in the DFW area... Course was in great condition, staff very friendly, good food and on course food and drink was great!..Fun layout! Small challenging greens!

Fossil is on my rotation each month, the only thing that isn’t my favorite about the course is it’s an “out and back” course, meaning the clubhouse doesn’t sit between 9 and 10, so can’t play nine and be back at your car, or take a break between the front and back nine. But that’s not a huge showstopper for me, just catches some of my friends by surprise that don’t play the course often

This course has 5 or 6 holes where you can’t hit driver on par 4/5. No gettable par 5’s because of the wacky design. BUT it’s in great condition with well kept greens.

The course is always in good shape. I don’t always come here, it’s a bit out my way. If you’re looking to get a quick round in make sure to grab an early tee time.

Course in overall good condition. Pace was about 5 hours which is pretty slow although it was a Saturday afternoon. Pro shop staff and ranger need some work and it would be nice if golfers would repair their ball marks on the greens!!

I’ve played this course over the years, and I got to say, this is one of the best courses in DFW, no joke, I’ve played many courses and this by far beats all of them. See pictures

So many interesting holes and very good conditions! Only complaint is pace of play. Foursomes not letting twosomes through in late afternoon, weekday round.

Fossil Creek, Ft Worth Tx, is incredible! One of the best courses I’ve ever played.

Tee boxes, fairways, and the greens were all in great shape. The layout is stunning, hills, creeks, trees, all just beautiful.

Can’t wait to play it again!

In great shape, greens are in good shape.. Always a fun Arnold Parker layout. One negative…the carts are electric but, very old and ours wouldn’t drive straight.
