Timberview Golf Club

My wife is learning the game of golf. A good place to play to work with her & not worry about being hurried. Course needs work, but with the small greens, it makes you work hitting into them.

I use this course to update my club distances using my GPS. Since it isnt very often crowded, this is a great course to do this. The fact this course is very walkable is a great plus

This is an easy course to play. The greens are tiny and hard to stick. Overall, the course is relatively easy and inexpensive.

The course is decent for the $10 I paid. The layout was very confusing at first because it's not clear which direction the green is when you're in the fairway. The par 3s play long from the blue tees. Holes 5 and 17 are quite the challenge. The course has no course rating or slope so it cannot be used to track handicap scores. That's why I say it's good to practice.

The course is a good value deal. The greens are not always in the best shape, they have no ball washer stands, but there are some challenging holes on the course. We played the course in November 2012 and I was surprised at how good of shape the greens and the fairways were. The tee boxes were a little rough but was a beautiful day, and over all had a great time for the price.

Greens were in awesome condition for a fall day. Never saw greens so well maintained anywhere else. Fast and smooth like playing on carpet. Two thumbs up to the staff.

I've played this course off and on for the past 20 years and I can see the drastic upgrades and improvements to the course. What I liked was the fact that I was an hour late for my tee time and they honored my GolfNow reservation.

The staff at Timberview are very welcoming and seem genuinely happy that you've come out to play their course. This is a nice little course that they have really worked on to improve and are continually working on. The greens are cut a little long for my liking, but if you have little money, you'll have fun at this course.

If I am pressed for time, I can enjoy a quick round during the weekday. Timberview is easy to get to about three miles off of I-20. They have a nice Club House with minimal amenities however they have all thats necessary if balls and gloves are needed and beverages. There is no Driving Range but they have a putting green. This Course has been around for a very long time which I have been playing ocassionaly for a very long time. Since this Course has been in existance for a number of years it has the nostalgia of a Grand Old Course with smaller and sometimes domed greens. Not a pristine Course but a great place for a beginner to novice player.

first few holes are easy, but still challenging. the staff really friendly.

I've played this course years ago and the owners have improved it a lot. I enjoy playing it. The green fee is reasonable and they are constantly improving the course. The management is very helpful and friendly.
