Duck Creek Golf Course

As a bargain course, I had a good time and will be back. This course needs a good face lift and some love shown to it. Current ownership needs to either make a major investment in this course to up date it, or possibly work with the city of Garland to take it over as a municipal course. As a municipal course it would offer golf, a tennis/pickleball courts, add a club house and pool which would be great for improving the neighborhood. I went on a day when I thought that there wouldn't be many people, and the course was busy all day. This is a great course for novice players and players of all levels.

This is a course that is in the middle of and established community. Duck Creek does show its age, and needs a good overhaul and face-lift. That being said as a value course in the $25 range all in it would be fine, but not much more. The ownership needs to spend the money to bring it back to standard or maybe look at the city of Garland taking it over. As a municipal course it would have a good foundation to work with, it has golf, tennis, pickleball courts and would be good for the neighborhood. Becoming a municipal facility would probably be best, as it looks like the current owners have no plans of fixing problems.

As for play, they were extremely busy the day that I played. Fairways our forgiving for beginner and novice golfers such as my self, with plenty of hazards. Would I recommend this course yes, as a value course it isn't bad.

This course is ok for a cheap option, no clubhouse and the course is a little run down and needs some attention. Some greens are good some patchy, no one else was on the course so pace of play was great.

This course felt like some random dude bought a bunch of land and decided to make it a golf course

Very muddy messy course. Questionable pin placements. Needs a make over and some golf spice cleaners

Pretty awful experience over this past weekend. Booked a tee time on GolfPass for Sun. 10/29/23 for the morning. Showed up ready to play and no one was there, the course was closed.

We had lots of rain over the weekend so I call on Saturday to be sure the course would be open. Gentleman who picked up said, “we never close!”.

So either someone slept in or they closed and didn’t notify me.

Course is never in great condition but you can always find a tee time here in a pinch…guess I know the reason why.

Played here last Sunday and they still don’t have a club house. The course was also pretty rundown. Don't even think about trying the driving range (100% sand). Course has potential with some challenging holes

Layout is not clearly marked, fairways in really bad shape, greens not much better. Ground so hard you can not put in a tee. This course needs some love from its grounds crew. This can be fixed but seems like no one taking care of this course.

Two groups of ”regulars” really slowing play and would not offer a play through.

Food options way over priced and very very limited.

Unfortunately, the course was really in bad condition. The fairways were terrible. The car path was terrible or nonexistent. Surprisingly, the greens were actually pretty good. It was definitely not worth the money, and I would not go back , not even for a free round unfortunately
