Duck Creek Golf Course

Love the course. Fairways have a few bad spots but it is Texas and dry. The only thing that I have problems with are the lack of direction signs. Especially on the back nine. Will be playing it a lot.

it's not a country club, it's an awesomely laid out public course that has probably seen better days. there are chunks missing of fairways, not every green is perfect and green. It is VERY playable and a lot of fun. People crying that their $25 didn't get them perfect fairways and cart girls flirting are just keyboard warriors looking for a reason to complain. You hit a ball, it flies, you try to get it ion the hole. Stop pretending your trying to get your tour card at Duck Creek. I'd play this course again and probably have just as much fun. Only complaint was I got lost twice...maybe a few "next holes this way" signs would help.

Fairway was not in the best shape but in this Texas heat and no watering you can’t expect it to be great. The greens were in good shape and the course layout is great. Be sure and bring plenty of tees because the tee boxes were dry and hard.

Added GPS on cart was a welcomed surprise. Also seeing new shrubbery. Disappointed that door to ladies' restroom on course is still not fixed. For at least a month, the door has been leaning against the wall. I actually walked in on another lady about a month ago and it's still not fixed.

The last time I played this course, it was called Oak Ridge Country Club. I loved it then a love it now. Great layout and surprisingly in the Texas heat and lack of rain, it was in good shape. I will definitely play again.

If you want somewhere cheap to play and can play for less than $30, it’s fine. Anything above that you’ll be upset

It was fast hot deal that I got for $13.99 @ 3:00. I played 18 holes in 2 hours 10 minutes. I know that specifically because of the new GPS on the carts now, a small upgrade but it's a start.

As I was playing I kept thinking, how did I let myself pay $45 for this round? I definitely wouldn’t play this course again if I were offered $250. Conditions were a joke, pace of play was easily the worst I’ve ever experienced. The highlight of the round was when the starter was having phone sex in our backswings while we teed off at 9 in the morning. Pretty funny, seemed like a decent guy. My group left after the 13th hole.

Found a last minute tee time for 8:45am and was excited to get a round in. When we arrived the club house was a trailer and there was a long line for check-in. I understand that it was the guys first day, but then the guy working the first tee box ended up mad because check-in took too long and made us late for our tee time. Ended up yelling at me while I’m on the tee box waiting for the quad in front of me to get out of range. Just horrible service.

This course has been steadily improving. Staff is very welcoming.
