First 90 degree day
First 90 degree day of the year
Great course , play from the appropriate Tees
Their is wast areas to clear.
I have nothing bad to say about the course
Play it
Beautiful spring day
Applecross was a great venue to play at during a weekday afternoon. Not crowded - friendly staff - nice amenities (range and putting green). Course layout was very good but not great. Some routine holes and a few “odd” holes that looked like they ran out of room and had to fit something in. Hit hybrids off of 4 holes because of restricted landing areas for driver. Greens had been recently aerated so not the best roll but that’s a function of time of year. The rest of the course was in great condition. 9th hole is spectacular par 5!
Aerated greens
Course was nice besides the greens and the amenities were terrible
Long walk
Unfortunately my brother in law and myself played this course when it was cart path only. We’re both in our 70’s with physical problems so needless to say, we were whooped when we finished. I’m sure we would have enjoyed it a lot more if we could have driven to where we hit our balls. Also has a lot of doglegs and for the short hitters some forced carry off the tee. I would play it again as long as it’s not cart path only.
Beware 4 holes closed for winter, but great track and condition
I checked in to learn that 4 holes are closed down for the winter. I was advised that Golfnow app provides this detail, bit it is nowhere on app when you select course. The Pro staff were very friendly and helpful, but think GolfNow provides the closing details. Anyway , they recommend to play 4 holes of your choice a second time - very professional staff.
Great Course
4 holes are closed for the season that is not mentioned on Golfnow which is disappointing.
Great course
The course is in great condition. It will challenge everyone regardless of your handicap. Staff is super friendly. Will definitely play it again.
Top notch in every way
Great conditions, practice facility and friendly staff. Doesn’t get any better than this.
Winter golf
Hard to review this time of year but course in good shape for this time of year.

Great Course
Applecross being a private club, it is really nice to see that they throw a few tee times out there to grab on golfnow. For $80 bucks it was a good deal. The people who work at the club are very friendly and helpful. The course itself was in great shape and provides a good test. If I see it available again, would definitely be back.
Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing Applecross Country Club.
