Nicklaus Private Design with amenities
Enjoyed my preview round at Applecross. Nicklaus design courses generally give me trouble due to the very undulating greens. Applecross was no different. Speed of the greens was a little slow but immaculate condition. Most of the course is easy to navigate and to keep your ball in play but as mentioned you have to put your ball on the right green quadrant to avoid 3 putts. Clubhouse has an excellent bar on the top level and the club has an unbelievable pool & fitness center which we did not have an opportunity to use. If the course was anywhere close to my home I would consider membership. Enjoyed my visit!

Apple criss Cross
nice course. there are many nice courses in the area. there is little to no awareness that golf pass players might actually be interested in joining the club. There was very little help to find anything. (range, first tee, locker room etc). we never actually found the practice green. it was full of members who knew where to go, but no one really said.. hey. can I help you find something. there are very little signs to find where to go, eventually the bar tender was pretty nice.

Beautiful course
I love this course. It is somewhat tough but was in great shape. The fairway and greens are perfect. My only complaint is that the signage needs to be improved

Great but not excellent
Course is proper shape for a country club but pace of play was shocking for something private. Didn’t like all the split fairways and there’s a reason probably they are partnering with Golf Now. Serene day on Saturday 8/19 and the tee sheet wasn’t 100% full. Make that of what you will.
Course is challenging
Good value for your money especially if you live local and can bring 4 some .
