An accurate tee shot from the towering tee above the par-4 5th leaves you this short but challenging approach. Photo submitted by Back9Ben on 06/02/2020

The 2nd hole and adjacent 17th are both longish uphill par-4s that are nearly mirror images. Par is a good score on either. Photo submitted by Back9Ben on 06/02/2020

Not a lot of flat lies in the landing zone on the par-4 12th, making the approach that much tougher. Photo submitted by Back9Ben on 06/02/2020

The par-4 14th is the first time you encounter a water hazard on this course, a nice reprieve. Photo submitted by Back9Ben on 06/02/2020

THe par-3 15th also has water in view, giving you back-to-back opportunities to lose your lucky Noodle. Photo submitted by Back9Ben on 06/02/2020

It is one FINE course!
Whiskey Creek is always a crowd pleaser. It was my first time back in a few years. It is still as nice as it always has been. I think this is one of the best golf courses in Maryland. Almost all the holes are so picturesque. The teeboxes, fairways, and greens are immaculate. The rough is uniform and thick. I cannot wait to go back. Oh yeah, and the food there is AWESOME!
Exciting Time
The Course is amazing! It is not very tough even from the tips! I enjoyed every bit of that course. However the the driving range and short game facility are terrible. You hit off bad mats and terrible golf balls. The short game area is all rough with a patch of fairway grass that they call “the green” the putting green doesn’t have real cups which is terrible.
Awesome course. Beautiful layout, friendly staff.

Beautiful course
Thế course ís beautiful but the greens are slow. Some par 3 the greens were bumpy . Pace of play was a bit slow maybe due to a tournament they have. With tee times deals it was worth the drive.
Fantastic course and I can’t say enough great things about it. My only wish is that it was a little closer to me so I could play it more often!
Fantastic course
If you haven’t played this course you are missing a terrific round of golf. I’ve played Carnoustie, Muirfield, Turnbury, Troon, Prestwick, etc. etc.- it’s definitely worth the drive- you won’t be disappointed.
Worst pace of play I’ve ever experienced.
First off, Whiskey is beautiful and the staff couldn’t be nicer people. We played on a Wednesday afternoon and finished in over 5 hours and 45 minutes. ON A WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. I’m not exactly sure how no one came out to at least try to fix this when the carts have built in GPS that explicitly say how far you are behind pace. For the price they charge, it’s unacceptable and ruined what would have been an awesome round.
Always a good play
Course was in very good condition. The greens are a little thin. Not too many people out so pay so play with excellent. The range is a little funky given you’re heading uphill. Also my friend has a medical condition and we were told we could drive the carts up to the greens but not on them of course which proved not to be the case. That was very disappointing. Overall, it’s always an enjoyable course to play
Beautiful Course with a great layout.
I might be a little harsh on Whiskey, but I hold it to a very high standard. The tee boxes were in bad shape. The rest of the course was very good. The greens could have been faster, but they were smooth. I think in a month or two the greens will be faster. I also hope that the grass on the tee boxes fill in.
Great spring time play
Very nice course in great condition considering the time of year. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Staff was very friendly and not in a forced manner.
Perfect day at a fantastic course
First time playing at Whiskey Creek. Wonderful course from start to finish- course was in really excellent shape-- tees, greens, everything; best of any we've played this season. Starter was very friendly and helpful. Pro shop very efficient and pleasant. Nice to have driving range balls included and readily available. Somewhat challenging course with bunkers that are quite deep. Course is also a bit hilly which made it fun and challenging. Carts were really nice and include GPS as well as automatic braking rather than having to stomp on the brake- very nice. Beverage service on the course as well throughout our round (on a Tuesday, no less!). Sat outside on the patio at the clubhouse after our round watching others on the 18th--- great way to end the day. Highly recommend this course.
Beautiful Mountain Vistas
Such a wonderful course. Was still showing aeration effects from 1 month ago, with a small impact on greens. And the group ahead was a bit slow, held us up a few minutes occasionally. That said, this course is just a delight to play. Those minor annoyances were worth it.
Impressive
Great shape for the time of year. Greens rolled nicely even having some sand from aeration recently. Great views, fun holes, and the course is really growing in nicely compared to others this time of year. Look forward to coming back.
