Whiskey Creek Golf Club

I've played this course dozens of times. This is the worst it's been in years. Fairway digits everywhere. Greens not in the best if shape with most of holes.

Same ole ridiculously slow pace of play, with maintenance & player assistance employees more concerned about catering to their free playing, fellow coworkers and their family member guests than WC’s paying patrons.

Whiskey was in great shape. Got around in 4:10. Staff was very friendly. Paid $120 which is a little steep but I guess the price we pay in the area. Definitely recommend playing here. Dollar for dollar with other courses in the area WC is worth it.

Pretty course. Generally the course was in above average condition except for the sand traps. It had rained the day before and the bottoms of traps were like hard pan. Tough to judge. Otherwise greens were faster than most munis and more undulating so a test. Rough was penal too. I’d gage it about 3-4 inches. Easy to loose a ball in.

Course was in great shape and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Great place and fun course. Morning rates a bit high. Course the n great conditions and pace was fast even with cart path only for first 9 holes after rain for 2 days.

I have to Whiskey Creek one of the top golf course in the DMV area .. can’t say nothing bad about the place, however, the pace of play really needs to improve. We played here last 3 rounds this year, and all those 3 rounds and we were waiting and waiting and waiting on the group(s) playing ahead of us ... the field marshal really needs to do a better job enforcing golfers to play in a better pace ..

The course is in great shape. Rough is thick. Greens were almost impossible to hold because wind was blowing and had dried them out. The poa annua is definitely present in the greens right now. Very good and challenging course. Would highly recommend. Get the rakes back in the bunkers.
