The course was on good shape was able to play in 3 hiurs without waiting and staff friendly
they made needed improvements
The greens were unmuch better dhape than they have been for the last year!! And the course was in good shape.
Had a great time playing this gem of a course. I've played it several times over the years and I am always impressed with the staff and course conditions. Great place to enjoy the game of golf.
Challenging fun
Haven't been out there in about 5 years. Went yesterday and man, the course is by far the best one I've played this year. Greens were good n fast, the fairways were really nice. Better hit it straight going into the greens though, sand everywhere lol. Cool thing about it, it's about 10 minutes down the road. They have ice and two bottles of water in the carts already. The club house is top notch. Everyone we talked to there was very friendly. This will be my new go to course when I don't feel like driving very far. If you live in the OKC area and want a challenge, this is definitely the course for you. It's worth the drive. Be sure to take a range finder with you due to the elevation changes. Highly recommend this course. We teed off at 0950 and didn't see anyone till the back 9. Pace of play was awesome. Range session is good all day long, before and after your round, unlimited balls.
greens need work
I really enjoy playing this course the layout the fairways and tee boxes are in great shape,but the majority of the greens are in bad shape.
Excellent Course / Layout but.....
Challenging layout. Fairways and te boxes in very good condition. But for whatever reason the greens are still not good at all. Slooow, very bumpy. Also hard as concrete as far as ball holding ability.
Great course just be prepared for the greens.
greens keeper needed
The fairways and overall facility are excellent,however the greens are in horrible shape and they have had there gps score screen
Removed from there carts but all in,all i really enjoy the course
Good course
Only bad feature was the bunkers, hard then soft, real inconsistent - difficult to play from. Rest of course is great.
Great course for the money.
After losing some greens in the past and change of ownership this course has come back beautifully. I would advise playing with someone who's played there before as some tee shots are confusing. Will be back asap
A Step above the Others
Everything I heard about the course was true; better than most courses found in Oklahoma. Will return!
The course is coming along really great in a year or two this will be a great place to play. couple of greens are still a work
In progress but still had fun the. new greens dwarf Bermuda I believe thats what they put in will be great during the hot summer. I played a course in tulsa that Chad Weinrich was superintendent and he had that course in great shape fairway
We're like hitting off carpet and green were true give it time and have fun playing
Winter Creek
Nice course and well maintained. Came with a gps in cart and the course setting is great. The cart came stocked with ice and two bottles of water and golf tees. The clubhouse was well maintained. I really enjoyed my round.
Greens Are Horrible
I completely agree with previous post from 7/6 titled also "Greens Are Horrible". From out of state and decided to play from a GolfNow review. Great layout. The WORST greens I have played on! Shame on this place for charging ( in the middle of Oklahoma) $45! Great layout though, but like the other post....doesn't matter because greens are everything .... and these sucked.
Greens are terrible
After replacing all 18 greens they are in terrible shape they need alot of work. They have a great layout and they should work on the greens because without them they have an average golf course. I won't be back until this problem is fixed.
The golf course is beautiful and challenging. The greens had just been airiated and sanded which was disapponting.
Great Course, but......
I play this course at least 2-3 times a month. The greens were redone in the last year and look amazing. Pace of play is great and you never feel rushed because it's never packed with people playing. After you play I highly recommend the restaurant.
A warning if you book through golf now, yesterday I booked the hot deal like i normally do and when I got to the course they informed me they now charge a range fee of $8 If you are going to warm up on the range. I paid it, however, in my opinion that is a little steep seeing as I only hit 15-20 balls before starting my round.
