CHALLENGING
FAIRWAYS IN GREAT SHAPE, ROUGH IS ROUGH. SOME OF THE PAR 4'S WERE LONG FOR US, BUT WERE IN OUR 70'S. WILL DEFINATELY GO BACK. ENJOY PLAYING A COURSE THATS A BIT CHALLENGING.
Super unique layout, good value for around 40$
This course has some pretty crazy elevation changes blind shots and challenges along the way. Greens are rolling pretty well although they're not super fast but they're clean. Tee boxes are average at best and Fairways are solid. For 40 to $50 this is a great course I don't know if I'd pay much more than that though

After an early spring cut….fast greens could make this course a bear
Beautiful track
I had a great time from start to finish. Drive 45 minutes toil arrive 45 minutes before my t time. As a single, I was expecting to be paired up with a group. The man at the front desk was super friendly, and sent me off early. The course was in extremely good shape! T boxes, bunkers, and greens all kept very nicely. The fairways were in great condition. Hole 5 is their signature Hole, and was a cool par 3 to play. This course has some amazing countryside and rolling hill views. Overall, I extremely enjoyed this course and will definitely be coming back.
Interesting Course
From wide open fairways to narrow uphill windows the course was both challenging and open. First time playing the course and would go back, maybe with more golf balls this time. The downhill par 3 took a few from me. Great value.
Challenging but fun
Staff was very friendly when I first arrived. Range and putting green warm up areas available. Very hilly so deff don’t try and walk it unless you want a work out. Be prepared to lose some balls, wasn’t busy so I wasn’t rushed and could enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery.
Bunkers?
Half the bunkers were dirt not sand.
Still a decent course for the $.
My favorite course in Wisconsin
I golf this course a few times a year and it’s always in great shape, the layout is super fun with some interesting fareways, and the staff is always the best
Beautiful course
Course is longer, so a little more difficult for me, but always enjoy playing here.
Best Value of near Madison
Deer Valley feels like a $70-$80 round course, but you get it for $40. Can’t beat that. Good views, soft greens, Worth the drive from Madison.
