Legendary Oaks Golf Course

Played a round at Legendary Oaks on Monday it was a bit hot and humid but the round was fun, I was invited to join the group ahead of me and played with a couple great guys Charlie and Brian had a great time playing with them. The course greens were in good shape a bit on the slow side of putting but the ball ran true. The fairways showed signs of animal damage , but was being repaired as we were playing the course, overall a fun day of golf with some new friends! I'll be back soon.

No maintenance is being done on course. Greens needed mowing, Fairways in terrible condition and tee boxes were also.

The overall condition of the course would’ve been much better if it had been mowed. The fairways and greens were fuzzy. You couldn’t even put on the greens. I can’t believe it wasn’t mowed on Friday for Saturday play.

Overall, the course is in good shape. Greens are smooth non patchy, rolling nicely, fairways are good. I've played here many times, and the course right now is about as good as I've ever seen it.

I have played this course many times in the past, because it is 5 minutes from my home. about 2 years ago i stopped playing it because the greens and fairways were horrible. either they were over grown or burnt up. it was really bad.But i went there a few weeks ago, and it was in excellent condition. It really was in great condition the fairways and the greens. I would highly recommend this course.

Fairways were looking pretty good considering we are in late August greens running a tad bit slow but not bad. The young lady Jordan greeted us with a smile that showed we are appreciate it here. Mrs.Kelly in the bar and grill area was also very nice and attentive, even Christie the young lady that relieved Jordan was very professional, Overall a very nice experience course playing pretty good

This is the only course I have used on Golfnow for the last 8 yrs.That charades extra 5.00 for a cart fee.

Well, hogs tore up a few fairways but they quickly made repairs, overall greens are in good shape some have some disease around the edges, fairways are getting better, we have been playing here for many years, and the course keeps getting better

I was trying to sell a brand new Titelist cart bag in the pro shop, but after several attempts the Manager never called me back to say yes or no,

Didn’t really like that but oh well

Played course for third time in three weeks with my score going down by 4 strokes each outing, the greens and fairways are in good condition with the greens still being on the slow side of speed. I can attest that they are consistent in speed on all three times that I have played , speed of play is good with slower group waving you through with no problem. Easy drive for me from Magnolia down the FM1488 , I plan on playing several more times this summer.

this was the first time I played the course and got into some trouble on a few holes not knowing them. For example hole 2 has a fair way bunker in middle that you cant see from tee box. Should have taken more time driving up the fairways to see what it was about. Fun course with some challenging holes. Greens were in good condition and very soft. a little slow but consistent.

greeted by very nice starter who checked us in and explained where everything was around the course, we found the course in very good condition with most of the greens rolling true and predictable. The fairways were mowed and in good playing shape, the sand traps need some work with little or no sand. The wind was not a factor on shots and I was pleased with the overall condition of course, I recommend playing Legendary Oaks and will play it again probably next week.

My thought is, if you want to book many groups, have a Marshall to keep the pace up. Waiting on EVERY hole is not fun.
