About
From the fairways of Irving (formerly known as Twin Wells), you can see the skyline of downtown Dallas–a nice aesthetic for this fun, user-friendly municipal. The course is mostly an open, links-style design, although a few holes that roll along the Trinity River favor a traditional-style on the back nine.
Hole 3 stands out on the front: a 437-yard dogleg left that is protected by fairway bunkers. On the back, No. 11 is the most difficult–another long par 4 at 451 yards.
Getting there : From Hwy. 183 east, take Loop 12 south and exit Shady Grove Rd. Turn left, drive a short distance to the course, look for the clubhouse on the right side of the street.

Haven’t played here since the old Twin Wells days. Really enjoyed the new course layout. Greens are in really good shape and staff very friendly. Great day on the course. I’ll definitely be back.

Awesome Course
We had a thunderstorm 1st thing this morning which passed just in time for a 10:30 tee time. The course was pretty empty, a 2 ball a few holes in front and a 2 ball a few behind. Pace of play was excellent. The course was in great condition. Greens rolled beautifully, the fairways were in great shape and the tee boxes were good (a couple a little hard)
The 2nd green was open again and the major repairs they had done looked awesome. One of my favorite local courses

Solid course for the money
Solid course for the money. Hard pan fairways but in good condition for Late in the summer. Played on hot deal and was a great value. Generous fairways but penal if you miss. Played the tips and it was a good challenge but scoreable with good shots. Greens held well. Were a bit slow, but rolled well. Friendly staff. Super fast paced round on a Thursday afternoon.

This course has totally changed!
This course is beautiful! A total upgrade from the last time I played , which is when it was called Twin Wells. Great job! I will definitely be going back.

Love this course
This was my 4th time here. The course is in great condition (2nd hole has temp green due to the repairs they are doing to the green otherwise I would give 5 stars)
Check-in is always warm and welcoming. Great putting and chipping greens (I did not use the driving range)
Starter is super friendly
Was paired with 3 other players and we even with a 4 ball in front we played in under 4 hours
I enjoy the layout of the course and the greens are in excellent condition

Solid for the money
Very friendly staff.
Kim at the front counter was extremely friendly and very helpful.
Greens were true and a little fast. But, that Texas summer golf.
Number 2 green is still getting rejuvenated. So, there’s a temporary green there.
But, all others were good and held the ball well when landing.
In a flood plane. So, will have some soggy spots.
90degree cart rules in play.
Well groomed fairways.
Great scoring course.
Great app for gps yardage and score keeping.
Once number 2 green is back, this course will be on our regular rotation.

Idiot starter, 45 minute back up
Poorly run. Starters are kids who have no idea what they’re doing. Let 20 guys in carts go ahead of us because they were part of a tournament, and not even a course organized tournament. Wouldn’t let us switch over to 10. Wouldn’t give rain checks. 0% satisfaction. 9am tee time and we were sitting in our carts by the starter until 9:45. Very disappointed.

Excellent value, Course in Great Shape.
I’ve played this course a few times this year. Even though I always loved the layout, I always thought the greens left something to be desired….
Today the greens were perfect. This course is in as good shape as any other public course I’ve played in the Metroplex recently. It’s a great value….

Course was in fairly good shape. Greens rolled really true. One temporary green but should be alive in a few weeks.
