Weather was perfect and the course was in great shape.

Greens were fast and so easy to read. Fairways were well manicured. Might be for the price the best deal in DFW.

The course is great with some challenging holes sprinkled with some forgiving fairways that I need. Kim and the entire staff are the best!

I thought the overall look of the course was cool. Bunkering has a sort of links look (there was a lot of nice fluffy sand, bunkers are very playable) to it and there are some grassy knolls that look like bunkers that kind of mess with you a bit off the tee which I liked. Bring your rangefinder, there isn’t any mapping and very few yardage markers. It’s pretty short out there - about 6600 from the tips. Overall for the money the course was in great shape. I think it was the second green…anyway one green suffered from some serious damage, but otherwise they were in nice shape. Far from the quickest you’ll play but that helped my lag putting tbh. Pace was a little off but we got paired with two beginners and it was a beautiful Saturday morning, course was packed. We played in 4hrs 50mins. Get your phone out for the 10th tee, pretty substantial carry that looks straight at the Dallas skyline in the distance. I’ll for sure be back!

Course is rounding into shape quite nicely out in Irving. Greens should be running fast after their last aeration with a fun, challenging layout.

Two greens were in terrible shape! But overall I would play it again for the discount price 28 bucks!

I've never played here before the redesign so I can't speak to the changes. It has a bit of a Links type feel, undulations in the fairways and greens. A few tees and greens are still storm damaged but for the most part the greens were in excellent condition. The fairways were hard and because the course has somewhat shorter par 4 holes , you really have to be careful off the tee not to hit it too far.

My biggest complaints are there was no course map on the scorecards, no hole diagrams on the hole signs (distances but no drawing) and the app I use with my golf watch (Garmin) still had the old design and distances. It seems like the front and back 9s were swapped in the redesign but I had to guess at distances all day. There's no 150 pole in the fairways and not much for distances on the cart paths either and what faded paint there was may have been for the older design. So really it wasa lot if guesswork without a range finder. So you might want to have one.

But the pace was fast, greens were great, sand traps mostly soft and full of sand and it plays better than its muni status.

After SnoVid and the weather this winter. They are making a comeback. Amazing amazing friendly people in the club house. Cool locals at the course. I’d recommend it !

Staff was wonderful and gave us a Rain Check. We definitely will be back.

I know there was rain all week. But the greens were not cut in several days? I get cart path only, but no Marshall’s to enforce it? I was almost assaulted when I tried to remind an idiot foursome to go back to the cart path. We were told pin 5. It was anything but and a virtual crapshoot of guessing. That means something when you have to grab three clubs and walk to your tee shot.. When I expressed my concern, NO ONE cared. Fairways are wide but there are ridiculous mounded bunkers in the middle of several of them. You cannot carry all of them. Number 10 is a great example. Someone is going to get hit on the 12th green from a tee shot on 11. Courses should have dynamic pricing based on their conditions. Today we overpaid.

Played here on Memorial Day. It was my first time and I enjoyed the experience. The clubhouse staff was very friendly. The starter was a nice friendly gentleman that gave my group a thorough guide to how to play the course.

Due to the Holiday as well as the unreal amount of rain we have received here lately the course was packed. There was no Marshall to speed groups up. Luckily the group I was paired with was cool.

Course conditions were decent. I will definitely be back.
