About
From the fairways of Irving (formerly known as Twin Wells), you can see the skyline of downtown Dallas–a nice aesthetic for this fun, user-friendly municipal. The course is mostly an open, links-style design, although a few holes that roll along the Trinity River favor a traditional-style on the back nine.
Hole 3 stands out on the front: a 437-yard dogleg left that is protected by fairway bunkers. On the back, No. 11 is the most difficult–another long par 4 at 451 yards.
Getting there : From Hwy. 183 east, take Loop 12 south and exit Shady Grove Rd. Turn left, drive a short distance to the course, look for the clubhouse on the right side of the street.

Fun Course
This is a fun course with wide open fairways. Be careful of the roll that can add at least 20 yards to your normal drive!
Very slow play
It was no one on the course and that was the slowest round I have ever played there. Terrible!!!!

Nice and fair course
First time playing it. The layout is very fair. I would like to play it in late spring through summer as it was deadpan fairways when I played it. I will be back though. Good course!!

Love the Layout, Course was in rough shape...
Love the layout, still dormant but beautiful when it greens up. The tee boxes were terrible shape and bunkers were unplayable

Great course close to the city
Played it on an early Weds morning. Friendly staff, good layout and great for the price. Will definitely be returning.

Nice course
I’ve played this course a few times over the past month. Wide open layout with nice greens. The dormant fairway grass leaves tight lies but that should change once spring rolls around.

Super fast greens
Very courteous staff. Was a fun course to play. Told that the greens are rolled everyday making putts roll true.

Love the course. Pace of play is fantastic. I don't like that the concessions stop at 3 pm. I stopped for a couple of beers after 9 holes and it was already closed. C'mon...really......next time I'll bring my own.
