About
From the fairways of Irving (formerly known as Twin Wells), you can see the skyline of downtown Dallas–a nice aesthetic for this fun, user-friendly municipal. The course is mostly an open, links-style design, although a few holes that roll along the Trinity River favor a traditional-style on the back nine.
Hole 3 stands out on the front: a 437-yard dogleg left that is protected by fairway bunkers. On the back, No. 11 is the most difficult–another long par 4 at 451 yards.
Getting there : From Hwy. 183 east, take Loop 12 south and exit Shady Grove Rd. Turn left, drive a short distance to the course, look for the clubhouse on the right side of the street.

Course is coming along nicely since it opened. Fairways have a long way to go.
Great way to start the day.
Early 18 fun course not too busy midweek and greens are in good shape despite the tough winter here.

Water required...
Tee boxes are rock hard, fairways are dry and getting thin in many areas. All of this could and should be addressed. Fortunately the greens are not to bad. But if the course is this dry in April then come July and August it is in big time trouble.

Good chance for going low
Called in about the foursome in Friday of us with two guys and two girls with only two bags with the girls taking two or three whiffs and then hitting it 10 yds. They sent out a marshal and took care of it.staff a LOT more user friendly!

Fun Course
This is a fun course with wide open fairways. Be careful of the roll that can add at least 20 yards to your normal drive!

Very slow play
It was no one on the course and that was the slowest round I have ever played there. Terrible!!!!

Nice and fair course
First time playing it. The layout is very fair. I would like to play it in late spring through summer as it was deadpan fairways when I played it. I will be back though. Good course!!

Love the Layout, Course was in rough shape...
Love the layout, still dormant but beautiful when it greens up. The tee boxes were terrible shape and bunkers were unplayable

Golf watches don’t work here. They still have not updated it from when they redid it years ago.

Great course close to the city

Nice course
I’ve played this course a few times over the past month. Wide open layout with nice greens. The dormant fairway grass leaves tight lies but that should change once spring rolls around.
