Irving Golf Club

I'll admit I'm used to playing at higher end courses where the per-person greens fee is equivalent to a foursome here. I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. The course was in very good shape and was fun to play. My group played from the black tees which I think is necessary to create challenge given the openness of the fairways. It's a course where playing from the lesser tees would be a confidence booster, but sometimes we need that. The staff, amenities and layout were all fine. The greens were slower than I'm used to but not bad. They were in good shape and rolled well. Overall, great value course you should try.

Great course, well taken care of and the Marshall was super friendly. This is a gem of a course with most bang for the buck. Even got a discount for being a resident of Irving.

This was my first time playing this course and was excited about playing was a little disappointed to find out the middle tee boxes had been moved to the front tee box and they still charged a premium rate glad I got the hot deal price will return once the tee boxes are back to normal

I enjoyed the course. Open fairways, Nice greens. Some water. Course is in good shape.

Played here years ago when it was Twin Wells and terrible. The renovation on this course has made it an EXCELLENT place to play. Greens were fabulous, course was well manicured, layout is super fun. I’ll be back soon.

Upon arriving and checking in, was greeted by the GM who was extremely friendly. Very informative after I said it was my first time here. This course came recommended by a friend so I decided to check it out. I was not disappointed! I was paired up with another gentleman who was very pleasant and made it enjoyable. He played the course a few times so he knew the layout which was a plus. the fairways were in very good condition and had very generous landing areas. The greens were pretty smooth with tons of undulation. The pin placements were a but tough as there were tucked tightly near the edges on some holes. Greens were not too slow but could be a touch faster. Overall, a great course, good practice area with range, putting green and chipping green as well. I plan on returning again soon. Hopefully I will drive it a bit better next time.

The re-due of this course is wonderful to behold! What a great improvement.

The back 9 (old front 9) was significantly re-routed and made more playable.

Greens are in very good condition and roll true if you are a good green-reader.

Fairways a little wider where they needed to be.

Breakfast sandwiches are a treat.

Firm and fast- pretty much always... so if that’s not your scene then buyer beware. Great bang for the buck.

Overall the course was in ok shape, but needs a lot of water. Fairways were dry and ball ran forever. Greens needed to be cut pace was slow

Very open course, with inviting fairways and good selection of 4s and 5s.

Driver came into play on most of the longer holes, with definite use of 19 degree and 22 degree clubs for second shots.

Bunkers are avoidable, greens played well, a few were a but dramatic with valleys and hills, but nothing a good putter couldn't handle.

Booked 2 available tee times. Reminded on holes 1,3,5 and 7 that we had to be off hole 9 by a certain time due to a tournament. Told on hole 18 to keep in mind the 90 degree rule after driving 80 degrees. Groups in front were not spoken to concerting their slow play, found that out when we asked to play through.

course is in great shape and the greens were a pleasure to putt on. really enjoy this course.
