About
Carlton Gipson designed the Golf Club At Cinco Ranch in the early 1990s. It's a long golf course that features an ocean of water impacting play on 16 of 18 holes. For the most part, the holes are straight and open, with minimal trees framing the paths to the greens. The greens are unique because of the unusually shaped bunkers that create very different short game challenges from what one normally finds. One of the best holes is no. 4, a 557-yard par 5 that features an approach shot over water into an elevated green. In addition to the water, the green is fronted by a bunker that is at least 10 feet below the hole. This requires a phenomenal, blind bunker shot for an up-and-down.

Course in good shape. A few dry spots. Keep it down the middle. Rough is deep. Keep it down the middle and hit the greens. Finally no longer putting on beaches. Not as fast as they normally are but rolling good.

Great course for a hack like me. Plenty of room to make mistakes and recover from them.

Course was coming off a heavy rain the day before, and aside from the cart paths you couldn't tell.

The course was in great shape. Greens were a little fuzzy but rolled very pure, just kinda slow. Fairways were good as well. The edges of the cart path weren’t the best but other than that the course looked great today. Pace of play on the other hand wasn’t great. Could use some work. All in all a great fun course that provides a little challenge but nothing too crazy.
Fun and challenging...
Staff was great considering we had never been on this course. Fun folks and made us feel at home. Driving range was nice. Course was awesome and challenging. Try it out. Nice carts also.
Modest value but service iffy
I like the layout of this course and we had a good time period the layout is good and I enjoyed the hills and bunkers . If you don't mind a little rudeness or inattentiveness then you won't mind playing here

Course is still nice, greens are really nice but not as fast as they used to be.
decent course; gets too much play
pace of play was slow on a saturday afternoon. layout is good. greens/cups were torn up by the afternoon. good fairways and tee boxes. worth 35$ for twilight.
