Cedar Creek Country Club

About
The first course developed along Cedar Creek Lake, this one opened in 1967 as part of a rural retirement community. The course’s namesake waterway slinks its way through the course, coming into play six times as you wind your way through the tree-lined fairways.
Holes of note include the 470-yard, par 4 No. 6, which dives through a chute of trees to a large green. Thankfully, this monster is void of hazards. On the back No. 13 is feast or famine–a short par 5 at 483 yards, but a pond sits in the middle of the fairway. The ender at Cedar Creek goes 520 yards and is fairly manageable if you can keep it out of the trees.
Getting there : From Hwy. 175 east, take the Kemp exit, and look for the signs to the course.

Nice course, good people.
Cedar Creek CC has a nice layout. The course is in great shape. We didn't try the restaurant or bar, but everyone we came in contact with (including the group that let us "play thru"), was polte and helpful.
Fast Greens
Course was in excellent shape and loved the greens. Quick and accurate. Wide open course with limited hazards and bunkers . Nice test of your skills. Not my first time to play and won't be the last.
Still the best
As usual, the staff was friendly and eager to do business when we arrived. They got a cart girl now so that just put the cherry on the icing. The greens are still looking great even tho we've had some cold snaps. Some of the more seasoned members were hanging out and smoking a cigar at the club house and chatted us up. Always nice to feel welcomed, and cedar creek cc does it everytime
The course was in great shape. The staff there was extremely friendly. The pace of play was fast like we like.
Cedar Creek Country Club
The Cedar Creek staff should be commended. The course has survived a brutal Texas summer very well. Fairways and greens are in fine shape. This course is a pleasure to play. Staff and members are welcoming. It is worth the drive from Dallas.
Won't be back
Have lived in the area for almost 30 years and played CCCC many times. We won't be back. It is well known that club members do not like it open to the public. The poor experience started in the clubhouse. The girl working the counter needs to know that there is more to customer service than long legs and a short skirt. The group behind us (club members, we know this because the course marshall told us) called the clubhouse on us because our pace of play was too slow for their liking. Keep in mind that we had a foursome in two carts, they had a foursome and two of the four were in there own cart, which, in and of itself, leads to faster play on their part. They also told them that we had driven a cart too close to one of the greens past the sign, which was not true. Then one of the members decided he wanted to "stare down" one of our group, it was quite comical actually. The beverage cart girl didn't even look our way the multiple times she passed us, even when we tried to wave her down.
For a club that has continually struggled with membership and revenue, you would think they would do everything they can to attract new members. One of our group is recently retired and was contemplating a membership there, not after this experience, he said he will just go to the Pinnacle Club.
Perfect
Great day of golf at Cedar Creek. Staff was super nice and course conditions were really really good. Pace of play was great. Couldn’t have asked for anything else. Five stars all the way around.
Pace of play
Had to go off back 9 since they double booked our tee time with a Sunday game of 20 people. Once we started on 10 a group of members called in on us saying we skipped people even though we told them nicely that the pro shop told us to go off of 10. Old Members out here are inherently rude each time I play out here. Course was in good condition compared to a lot of courses right now.
Cccc
The place is getting better each time I visit. The greens are rolling splendidly.
