Lake Park Golf Course - Championship Course
About
Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

Golfer Reviews
LP 4/29
Greens are spotty but will be back in a couple weeks or so. Fairways are in great shape.
We appreciate the support! Look forward to seeing you again soon. Sincerely, Brian L.
Really appreciate the rating. Care to share any details? Sincerely, Brian L.
Weird
Weirdest course I’ve ever seen. You can see every single hole pretty much wherever you are on the course. Les run run next to eachother the whole time so people kept taking/hitting your ball if you barely missed your fairway. Greens were in okay shape, playable for sure. Terrible layout though, always windy, would not play again personally, I like privacy.
Thank you for the rating. If you’d like to share any details about your experience, we are always looking for ways to improve. Sincerely, Brian L.
Good course for the price
The greens weren’t in great shape, there’s very few distance markers, and all of the holes are side by side. Sometimes it’s hard to know which flag you’re hitting to. But, it was a lot of fun and a good course for the price.
Thanks for the review! We appreciate the feedback and please know we aim to provide an enjoyable experience for every level of golfer. Hope to see you back again soon! Sincerely, Brian L.
And we thought pace was bad at The Masters!
Tee times were 20 minutes behind. No Marshall to control pace-of play. Pretty laughable.
Outside of that, decent conditions on Tee-box and fairways. Greens need some work; very patchy.
Would play again, but certainly nothing to write home about.
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize the pace of play at the time you played did not meet the high expectations we set for ourselves, that said we are working handily to resolve the issue for your next visit. Sincerely, Brian L.
Thanks for your feedback, u380947961. We’re sorry we did not live up to expectations. Would you mind messaging us so that we can learn more about what we could be doing better? We can be reached at blocke@arcisgolf.com or 972-219-6092. Sincerely, Brian L.
Thanks for taking the time to rate us. If you’d like to share any details about your experience, we are always looking for ways to improve. Sincerely, Brian L.
Simple
Very simple course, minimal challenges. Doubt I play here often. Staff was fine, greens were a little rough.
Thanks so much for the kind words, Baylor135. We will share this with the team! Sincerely, Brian L.
Open course
Okay here if you want to feel good about your game. Easy & wide open. Greens ate still a little rough- not fully developed yet. Staff very friendly!
Thanks for the feedback and glad to see you enjoyed your round with us recently! Please know we are transitioning to a new greens program and our greens will continue to heal up nicely during the transition. Come back and see us again soon! Sincerely, Brian L.
Great course, bad greens
The greens are in terrible shape. Every putt bounced its way towards the hole. The fairways are in excellent shape. The tee boxes are in great shape but they are littered with used tees that look like they never get cleaned up.
I played one of the first tee times so I had no issues with pace of play. The course behind me was jam packed with people.
The course is great for beginners. I didn’t lose a single ball and my playing partners barely lost any even with their massive slices and hooks.
The holes are laid basically on top of each other so watch out for bad shots that could hit you from other fairways.
The staff was excellent. The club house is nice. The bathrooms were clean and nice.
The carts were in great shape.
Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed to read the greens were not up to par during your last visit with us. Happy to report that since your last visit, we've started a new greens program to achieve best results and they are now rolling considerably better than they did a month ago. I'd encourage you to come see us again soon for a much more enjoyable round. Sincerely, Brian L.
Really appreciate the rating. If there are any details you’d like to share about what we are doing well, we’d love to learn more! Sincerely, Brian L.
Greens were terrible, crabgrass and very inconsistent. Second hole in the Marshall tells us we need to speed up because we’re a hole behind the group in front of us. What? There wasn’t a group on the first green when we tee’d off. Then we caught the group in front of us by hole 4….annnddd waited from there on out. Don’t waste your time or money on this course.
We apologize for not meeting your expectations, but appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. Your remarks will be shared with the team. Sincerely, Brian L.
We appreciate the rating, even if it means we could have done better. We’d love to know more about what we did and didn’t do well so that we can better serve you in the future. Sincerely, Brian L.
