Lake Park Golf Course - Championship Course
About
Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

Golfer Reviews
The bunkers need more sands and please stop cutting more trees
It seems that management of this facility are good at cutting trees but not planting replacement ones. I brought this issue to them few months ago and I was told they will be replaced with new ones. Spring is good time to start planting new trees.
Backed up due to weather and it was crazy backed up.. we had to stop at hole 14 due to time and limitation
Thank you for the feedback. We are disappointed to read that the pace of play wasn't up to par during your last visit with us. We've since implemented new players assistants to assist with our pace of play initiatives. I encourage you to come see us again soon for a much more enjoyable experience! Sincerely, Brian L.

This course needs basic on course amenities
There is no ball washer at entire course ( they used to have some). Nodrinking waters on the course.
Thank you for the constructive criticism, and sorry we couldn’t make it a 5 star experience. It’s important for us know how we can better serve our customers and your comments will be shared with the team. Sincerely, Brian L.
Just solid
Lake Park is what it is, just solid. Greens were mostly consistent and rolled well. The course isn’t perfect but the rate is good and the fairways and greens are above average. I’ve had a love/hate relationship with this course over the years. I’m currently in a love stage.
So glad you had a great experience, parisianswaybak. We look forward to seeing you again soon! Sincerely, Brian L.

Tee time booking nightmare
Played here today for the first time, after being warned about tee times. The group in front of us had 3 twosomes who all booked the same time either by phone, golf now, or the website. One guy complains to the staff, they did nothing. Me and my buddy go to the first hole, there’s 3 guys waiting who all had the same tee time as us… I asked one of them if he’d played here before and he said “yes, they do this all the time”. It was an okay prarie golf kind of course, but poor management on the course. It’s almost like they overbook just for the money and don’t care about what happens. There is no course marshal or cart girls whatsoever. Just you and 4 other groups screwed on the same tee time arguing over who actually gets the tee time.
We want to apologize for any misunderstanding. This is absolutely not the experience most of our customers are accustomed to. We want to make sure this does not happen again, so please email me directly at blocke@arcisgolf.com or 972-219-6092. We look forward to connecting and turning this into a much more satisfactory experience for you.
Value course during week
It's a great course for irs value. Playing it during the week offers great pace of play, I was in a foursome and we played in 4 hours. Staff is nice but ordering food at the turn was a challenge. Course is on good condition, greens are good.
Thank you for the great rating, uWHPS8565WH. Care to share any details? Sincerely, Brian L.
