Lake Park Golf Course - Championship Course
About
Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

Lake Park
Obviously the course is dormant, but the greens and bunkers are in good condition. The tee boxes are in need of some attention. There were grounds crew all over the place, so I am sure they are preparing the course for spring. This is a good track to work on your game.
Good practice round
Course is still recovering from the cold and snowstorm from a few weeks ago. Not much grass in the fairways so a lot of tight lies - was still a bit soggy as well in places. Green fees were still reasonable compared to other courses, so it is a good place to work on form and shotmaking. Greens were in good shape and a lot faster than normal for Lake Park.
GolfNow and course management need to have a same ipolicy
Imade a reservation and piad via Golf Now. The reservation include the cart and GPS. The guy behind the counter said I need to pay for cart fee. I had to show him the reservation on my phone for him to accept it. He was not happy as he indicated that GN reservation is for walking only. I suggested to him to have the golf course management contact GN and sort out this issue. The customer should not be asked to pay for a service which is already included in the fee.
Good course when you're tired of getting beat up at others
when your confidence is low this is the place to get a score you can be happier with. Not a lot of hiding places for your ball. Good layout and fun. Always fun when getting pars and birdies
If you wanna waste your time and money this is the track
No starter seems to have no real rhyme or reason for tee times. If you have 6 hours to play 18 this is the place . They would rather have 3 people in the pro shop the have a starter so everyone can golf when they are scheduled . I had a 1:18 tee time got here at noon and probably won’t tee off till 230 I’m not even kidding . This place is such a joke you can probably walk on an play 18 no fees and these folks wouldn’t even notice at least there are plenty of courses to play on the way home SMH
Best bang for your buck
Still the best course for the money out there. Love going out to Lake Park
Great Course
I would recommend this course to everyone and the staff is amazing there. The layout is fantastic.
For the price it’s tough to beat!
During the week you can walk the course for around $22! You have to set your expectations based on the rate, but with that said the course is kept in good condition. Tee boxes are raised and flat, greens are manicured and are fairly fast, and then the fairways are cut well. There’s a large driving range and a small but nice clubhouse. I challenge you to consistently find a better deal than what they have to offer at Lake Park everyday!
Overpriced
They don’t include the cart fee in the rate here. Unless you have an Arcis golf membership. Paid 50$ to play here and lake park never has nor ever will be worth 50$. That being said I think new management is making improvements to the course. Great place if you are not good at golf
