Lake Park Golf Course - Championship Course
About
Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

Golfer Reviews
Horrible staffs!!!
I would never play this course ever again with staffs so rude and unprofessional!
Can’t beat the price
Holes are pretty tight so make sure you know what ball you’re hitting and keep your head on a swivel. Love playing here though, best price around.
this course need a marshall/starter
we had two players walking and hiddinf from blue tee in front of us. They had a ree time as our two some but decided to join the single players in front of us. Although we were told when we signed in that they suppose to play behind us. As they were walking and slowing down everyone there was no marshall to enforce their rules. we had to wait in every hole as they were slow and such a good players to play from blue tee.
Not coming back. Pace of play.
So originally was told that this was going to be a 36 dollar course with cart. Come to find out that it was 51. 15 dollars per person for a cart. WHAT. Also this place was overbooked and everyone was rushed while playing. The greens were nice and open, but management needs to step their game up in regards to maintaining golf for golfers. The staff were nice and welcoming.
Overbooked
They said it was because some groups in front showed up late, but you could tell that wasn't the case. Even if it was, they should have made them wait until after the people who showed up on time teed off.
Not great - very slow play
Could just be today was a nice Saturday, but this was the slowest course I’ve ever played. There was no help from the staff to move play along - we got stuck behind a group of 4 and 3 that decided to play all together. Very annoying. Have less tee times/space it out to increase speed of play. Pretty sure this is my last time playing this course.
Greens are terrible. They punched them over a month ago and they are still bumpy! The course supervisor didn’t even fill all of the holes in the greens with sand originally. Terrible job of aerating the greens.
Great Course and Service
I teed off at 7am and walked the course in 2 hours 15 minutes.. I never was rushed or slowed by any one and emnjoyed the weather and the course. Only suggestion is to bring bug spray as the sun got stronger they went away but in the early morning a few extra mosquitos.
