Lake Park Golf Course - Championship Course
About
Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

Great public course experience
Really run experience. Course is not overly difficult but greens and fairways were in great condition. Fairly flat so walking pretty easy since lots of courses are doing that because Covid. Could have had more pull carts, my partner didn't get one. Luckily i had one. overall really good. will be out there more this year.
Review
Everything was done safely and courteously. Back 9 was slow only because we were behind a threesome that didn’t understand ready golf. When everybody is walking, you need to play that way. Course in excellent condition.
Really good value course
Walked for $20. Tee boxes weren’t good other than 3, but greens are smooth, fairways are growing in pretty well. Pretty straight forward golf course
Lake Park
Lake Park has reopened and is participating in social distancing practices. Currently as of 4-17 its walking only. Its one of the easier walking courses in DFW. The holes are next to each other and almost no layout undulation. Open fairways make this course easy to get around.
Very Cold Day
The course was very adequate considering it’s winter. Greens were in great shape.
Wet spot
Almost same as last week's conditions with wet spots after rain storm and temporary spots for tee marks(Blue, White and Red) all togethers at Par 3's holes as same as last week.
We enjoyed round.
they need a better course management
I play at this course frequently. There two areas that they need a better job. First they need to either have marshalls or group players together. I had to wait in every hole because there were too many singles or two players at the course. they need to manage the speed better. Also it would be nice to have a cart selling sodas and beers on the course.
A rainy day
Course was relatively empty as rain was forecast. Course was in good shape, especially the greens. The rain started, but the course held up well.
Champions
Living in Dallas, often it’s hard to find the great course, great price and great location, if you don’t live on a golf course. Love this place and will be back!
Wide Open
I’ve played here numerous times and the course is normally in hood shape. Greens can be inconsistent but I find that a many different courses. Pin placement was a bit ridiculous this time ( it was on a ridge or slope on many holes) but all in all it was a good day of golf. The course was a bit crowded, which cause the pace of play to be a bit slower than normal.
Good to go playing
Still constructions for grasses on par 3 holes. Temporary Tee marks
With Red, White and Blue was altogether.
Open and forgiving
Excited to see the late season improvements coming along. This is my home course, so I’ve seen it up and down, but the staff is friendly, and it’s a fun course to play for any skill level.
I enjoy the year round wild geese, and occasional coyote siting.
