Lake Park Golf Course - Championship Course
About
Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

Golfer Reviews
Players course
I really enjoyed this course, although some fairways were tight, its a players course because it had plenty of hills on each sides of fairways that help feed the ball back to the fairways
Course is in good shape
Always enjoy playing lake park and view by the lake.
Great value
Did an early Monday morning tee time, was amazed 2/3 of walkers out there (we walked) & played less than 3 hours. Remind me of old days of how golf should be played. Great value, good way to start the week & great view of the lake. Fun round w my friend, pretty easy track, & need the wind to trick it up. Will do it again in these crazy times. Hit them str8....
Awesome Muni
This course is fantastic. First, it's right on the backs of Lake Lewisville. Course is in great shape using muni standards. Wide open. A great place for beginners and intermediate golfers. If you want a country club level course, this isn't it. If you want an enjoyable round of golf, come on.
Nice Shape
Lake Park 18 was in nice shape today, even with a bunch of rain overnight. The greens were in excellent shape and were rolling well. Best condition I have seen it in a while.
N0 GPS Included
On reservation page it indicates " GPS Included" . This course stop offering GPS at least for past two years. please correct your posting as it is misleading. Thanks
Great Practice Course
This course is amazing if you are new to golf or just want an easy round to practice. There’s very few traps and only 2 or 3 holes that have water in play. It’s nice and short so if you are new it wouldn’t kill you. I played really really bad and still shot a decent score. Only downside was a group of older guys in front of our group was holding everyone else up
Poor Customer Service
I booked a round on Golfnow for Lake Park. I paid online. When I checked in I was asked if I wanted a cart. I told them the cart was included. They said it was not. I showed them the confirmation on my phone that clearly stated a cart was included. 3 of the staff conferred and told me Golfnow had made a mistake. Take it up with them. So, much for the customer always being right.
Great public course experience
Really run experience. Course is not overly difficult but greens and fairways were in great condition. Fairly flat so walking pretty easy since lots of courses are doing that because Covid. Could have had more pull carts, my partner didn't get one. Luckily i had one. overall really good. will be out there more this year.
Review
Everything was done safely and courteously. Back 9 was slow only because we were behind a threesome that didn’t understand ready golf. When everybody is walking, you need to play that way. Course in excellent condition.
Really good value course
Walked for $20. Tee boxes weren’t good other than 3, but greens are smooth, fairways are growing in pretty well. Pretty straight forward golf course
Lake Park
Lake Park has reopened and is participating in social distancing practices. Currently as of 4-17 its walking only. Its one of the easier walking courses in DFW. The holes are next to each other and almost no layout undulation. Open fairways make this course easy to get around.
Very Cold Day
The course was very adequate considering it’s winter. Greens were in great shape.
