Lake Park Golf Course - Championship Course
About
Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

Living in Dallas, often it’s hard to find the great course, great price and great location, if you don’t live on a golf course. Love this place and will be back!
Wide Open
I’ve played here numerous times and the course is normally in hood shape. Greens can be inconsistent but I find that a many different courses. Pin placement was a bit ridiculous this time ( it was on a ridge or slope on many holes) but all in all it was a good day of golf. The course was a bit crowded, which cause the pace of play to be a bit slower than normal.
Good to go playing
Still constructions for grasses on par 3 holes. Temporary Tee marks
With Red, White and Blue was altogether.
Open and forgiving
Excited to see the late season improvements coming along. This is my home course, so I’ve seen it up and down, but the staff is friendly, and it’s a fun course to play for any skill level.
I enjoy the year round wild geese, and occasional coyote siting.
Nice course - value for the money
I enjoyed the course. The layout is fairly easy, but good enough to push an intermediate level golfer. Value for cost is high, and the course is well maintained.
Lgreat course conditions
Pace of play was good.
Resurfaced three holes of "Par 3 holes"
And set to the temporary tee marks.
This course makes you feel great about your game!
This is the course you want to take your buddies out to that don't play very often. There is very little trouble to get into and it isn't very difficult. That being said, the greens are in really nice shape and the layout is fun. I usually shoot about 9-10 over for a round, and the two times I've been to Lake park i shot +1 and +4. You still have to hit the shots but this is an all around fun course and decently priced. I recommend!
Great time for the $
We play Lake Park 18 fairly often. It's a feel good course that is close and with minimal hazards. This round was one of the best, the weather was great and no players 2-3 holes in front or behind us. You just have to keep an eye on your ball, because of the course layout, if you're on the next fairway or rough, I've had players ride up, address and play my ball. When you ask them what ball they are playing, they say "a white one". I recommend the course if you don't get out often.
Fun Track
This is a great course for beginners or anyone wanting to work on their game. The fairways were mostly very well maintained and the greens rolled true. The course layouts helps you to still recover nicely from errant shots. I will definitely play here again.
Fun course
This was a relaxing fun course. Had a lot of fun there.
Nice course for beginners
Perfect course for beginners like myself. Not a lot of trouble, pretty wide open. Pace of play can sometimes be an issue, but it is normally pretty crowded. Good value for around $20 but I wouldn’t pay any more than that.
Beginner/open course
This course difficulty is only a few water hazards and OB. Every fairway is straight and open
Friendly staff; Quite expensive but playing prime time on Sat morning so expected.
Pace was very slow, took over 5 hours for 18.
all in all great little course that is very enjoyable.
nice conditions
I have played this course many times
this was probably the nicest conditions that i have seen with this course....
I always enjoy playing here because I know I won't likely lose any golf balls...great chance to recover from poor tee shots..,,greens rolled true...if you want to hit driver often this is the course to let it rip..not challenging and may be boring to some....but sometime I don't want crazy blind doglegs and cant see the golfers in front of you etc...this is a nice break from that.....
