Formerly known as Arrowhead Country Club, Pinnacle opened in 1970 as a 9-hole track nestled on the cozy banks of Cedar Creek Lake. Tough times descended and the course was shut down before reopening with an additional nine and new ownership in the 1980s.
Dallas’ eastward growth has turned many onto the pleasant, rural atmosphere at Pinnacle Golf Club. Every hole is lined with trees and, despite its short length, the course is particularly tough because of the numerous dogleg fairways. Not counting the par 3s, 11 of 14 holes have doglegs. Because of the trees it’s recommended that you leave the driver in the bag.
The toughest hole is No. 15, a par 5 that goes 511 yards and offers a testy risk-reward decision. With a good drive into the wide-open fairway, going for it in two is possible by cutting the lake on the left side of the fairway.
Getting there : From Hwy. 175 east, find the town of Eustace and turn right on Hwy. 316. Drive. Turn right on Hwy. 316 and drive 5.5 miles to Clear Creek Rd. Turn right again and follow the signs to the course.

Pinnacle golf course
Everything was great from the pro shop/ restaurant to the course restrooms and Marshall! Greens are growing back after a cold winter and fairways looked very good! Tee boxes were very easy to tee up on! Didn’t have one complaint! Very nice course and got the hot deal for a very good rate! Will be returning soon!

Always fun playing golf with family and Pinnacle is a great place to play!

Great course ! Fairways are tight and you have to hit it straight. Greens are lightning fast.
Challenging
Although I typically don't break 90 , I enjoy the challenge of the course. Course will surely punish you for errant shots and missed greens
Crowded and I know why
We were third in line at our tee time. The course was challenging. As others stated, you need to have control over your shot to have a chance of not losing it in the trees. It was a prefect day and the course was in excellent condition. I will definitely be back.

Jones --- This course is short by most standard but tight and challenging to play - accuracy is vital for most holes but accurate shots usually give you chance to score well -- good course for both beginners and low handicap players - everyone should leave this course feeling good !!

On this day ,after a tournament, the course was in good shape. A few of the greens had repair areas, note to staff: place the hole locations away from the repair areas. A beautiful clear day, great temperature, what could be better.,my 82 score.☺️...
Hidden Gem -Amazing Value
Great course. Fairways and greens are in nearly perfect shape for this time of year. My only complaints would be that the tee boxes are shaggy and a little banged up and there is no beverage cart which is a bit of a problem because you don’t go by the pro shop/restaurant between holes 9 and 10 unless you know to go out of your way and come back to 10. Other than that the golf experience is pretty flawless. It’s a mini Augusta. Awesome track!
