Formerly known as Arrowhead Country Club, Pinnacle opened in 1970 as a 9-hole track nestled on the cozy banks of Cedar Creek Lake. Tough times descended and the course was shut down before reopening with an additional nine and new ownership in the 1980s.

Dallas’ eastward growth has turned many onto the pleasant, rural atmosphere at Pinnacle Golf Club. Every hole is lined with trees and, despite its short length, the course is particularly tough because of the numerous dogleg fairways. Not counting the par 3s, 11 of 14 holes have doglegs. Because of the trees it’s recommended that you leave the driver in the bag.

The toughest hole is No. 15, a par 5 that goes 511 yards and offers a testy risk-reward decision. With a good drive into the wide-open fairway, going for it in two is possible by cutting the lake on the left side of the fairway.

Getting there : From Hwy. 175 east, find the town of Eustace and turn right on Hwy. 316. Drive. Turn right on Hwy. 316 and drive 5.5 miles to Clear Creek Rd. Turn right again and follow the signs to the course.

Very nice course

This was the first time I played this course and it was well worth the money. I can’t wait to come back and play another round. The fairways and greens are well taken care of and the course is challenging but not to difficult. The staff at checkin was very helpful and answered any questions I had. Great course

This is one of the nicest courses I have played outside of Dallas! The Marshall kept everyone at a good pace from the first hole on! He was very friendly and informative! My whole group had a blast playing here and defiantly will be returning soon!

Nice course just needs to clean up numerous branches and dead leaves. Biggest complaint is its a tight driving course with tons of trees. Lots of house construction, therefore the out of bounds makes the playing area even tighter. I'm my opinion it restricts amateurs from having a fun round of golf if there wanting to preserve hcp. If there their to guzzle beer with their playing buddy's they really don't care about the layout just how much beer they can guzzle. Overall it's a challenging golf course with very good greens

I have played this course many times and this is the worst shape it has ever been. Greens are bare and tees are beat up. Also seems like everyone has forgotten how to rake a bunker!
