About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Hidden Hill Country Gem
One of the best values around and the layout is great for walking. It can be slow at times, but most people are friendly and playing through is easy. The head pro is an awesome steward of this course.
Great Staff, Great Value
My son and I went out to play the course. The staff is always super friendly and they are glad you are there. The course was in pretty good shape. The layout is fun, but most of all it isn't a 5 hour round like you find in many courses now. We make the trip every so often just for a nice relaxing afternoon.

Green and fairway could be better
The course is in a good shape, but the fairway can be mowed more, it's hard to tell whether you are in a rough or a fairway in some holes. Fairway was a mixed of grass and weeds. Green was very slow, but it's consistent throughout the course. Overall it's a good course.
Course was in great shape . Greens were a little slow but great experience overall. Took my son who doesn’t play much and he also had a good time…

Worth the drive
Course was in great shape, greens were a little slow but I believe only because it had rained before and drizzled a little during the round. Course management is key with lots of dog legs. Staff and cart gal were great. My only gripe was the group ahead of us that was 2-3 holes behind and their was no marshall. I drive from Austin 1-2 times a year but may make the trip more often. Definitely worth the trip for the value.

This place is a gem. Greens are great and course is in great shape always. A fun layout. A bit outside of Austin but forsure worth the drive!

Fun hill country layout.
Nice hill, country layout that winds through area subdivisions. Greens are in excellent shape. Would like to see the fairways cut a little shorter…. not much roll.. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely take time to play this course.

Great value, good condition
For a local muni, was pretty impressed with the shape the course is in. Got a hot deal for 28 bucks and teed off at 7:40, was finished by 10:15 (single but less than 2.5 hour round ). A few holes that make you think a little bit, but hard to beat the conditions for the price. Will be back.

Fun Golf Experience
This was the 3rd time I have played the course after about a 3 year gap. I like the course and layout. Even though it is not a 5 star course, it is a fun course to play and they do what they can to keep the course in good shape. The greens are in excellent shape. The fairways have a mixture of grasses, but maintenance does a good job of minimizing the effect. Some holes are tricky and I encourage you drive up and take a look and then play the smart shot. I drove all the way from Round Rock to enjoy this course because the Austin area golf courses are too congested. Go and enjoy.
