Hidden Falls Golf Club

One of the best values around and the layout is great for walking. It can be slow at times, but most people are friendly and playing through is easy. The head pro is an awesome steward of this course.

My son and I went out to play the course. The staff is always super friendly and they are glad you are there. The course was in pretty good shape. The layout is fun, but most of all it isn't a 5 hour round like you find in many courses now. We make the trip every so often just for a nice relaxing afternoon.

The course is in a good shape, but the fairway can be mowed more, it's hard to tell whether you are in a rough or a fairway in some holes. Fairway was a mixed of grass and weeds. Green was very slow, but it's consistent throughout the course. Overall it's a good course.

Course was in great shape . Greens were a little slow but great experience overall. Took my son who doesn’t play much and he also had a good time…

This was a great course to play surrounded by Texas Hill Country beauty! We look forward to our return trip here.

Course was in great shape, greens were a little slow but I believe only because it had rained before and drizzled a little during the round. Course management is key with lots of dog legs. Staff and cart gal were great. My only gripe was the group ahead of us that was 2-3 holes behind and their was no marshall. I drive from Austin 1-2 times a year but may make the trip more often. Definitely worth the trip for the value.

This place is a gem. Greens are great and course is in great shape always. A fun layout. A bit outside of Austin but forsure worth the drive!

Nice hill, country layout that winds through area subdivisions. Greens are in excellent shape. Would like to see the fairways cut a little shorter…. not much roll.. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely take time to play this course.

For a local muni, was pretty impressed with the shape the course is in. Got a hot deal for 28 bucks and teed off at 7:40, was finished by 10:15 (single but less than 2.5 hour round ). A few holes that make you think a little bit, but hard to beat the conditions for the price. Will be back.

This was the 3rd time I have played the course after about a 3 year gap. I like the course and layout. Even though it is not a 5 star course, it is a fun course to play and they do what they can to keep the course in good shape. The greens are in excellent shape. The fairways have a mixture of grasses, but maintenance does a good job of minimizing the effect. Some holes are tricky and I encourage you drive up and take a look and then play the smart shot. I drove all the way from Round Rock to enjoy this course because the Austin area golf courses are too congested. Go and enjoy.

First time our foursome hit Hidden Falls. I had read the reviews and it sounded really nice. Happy to say we weren't disappointed. There was a bit of weather so there was about a 30 minute delay until the lightning stopped. Not a problem for me! The front desk guy ( don't remember if it was Jim or Tim) was very friendly and helpful. The practice area is awesome and competes with some of the higher end country club facilities. The course itself is a fun, medium length course that winds it's way through a subdivision. Fairly narrow, but not too tough. It has LOTS of doglegs, so knowing the course would be very helpful when selecting your lines and clubs. Fairways were pretty good considering it's still early spring. Greens were VERY nice. Smooth and fairly fast...just the way I like em! Water on 4 or 5 of the last 6 holes. No bunkers which was a little odd, but didn't detract from the round in the least. Great find and a really good value. We'll def be back ! Kudos Hidden Falls!

If you go to this course, you should expect a long round. we left after 9 holes as it took use 2:30-2:45 to complete 9 holes. We were waiting 10 mins on every shot we took we didn't want to wait any long. Green Complexes are narrow, small and pins were on very interesting spots that broke a lot. Green condition was on the better side that i have seen but the fairway is not true grass its coarse fescue.

Great course only minus is there are two blind shots that need a bell or something. Otherwise great course!
