About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

For the middle of summer the fairways and the greens are in very good shape. It was the middle of the week but no issue with pace of play
Too slow
It took over 5 hours for the round. There was a group of 5 in front of us that were playing very slow. No marshall to enforce the pace of play.
NICE TREK, BUT...
Nice little course, however there is way too much St Augustine grass and crabgrass here and its just throughout the course even on the green surrounds. Great layout but cmon man...
kill that mess off and let the bermuda thrive..
Hidden Falls Golf Club
Not all reviews accurately reflect the current course condition. No grass on fairways but weeds. Most of the greens need attention and are not in good condition at all. I don't understand how this course has 4.5 stars.
Absolutely terrible
Horrible, the only reason why is 4.5 is because there is a one user @dskinggo who is giving it 5 Star reviews(sometimes 8 times in one day, check out all the reviews). These guys has submitted 75% of all the reviews, they are either employees or closely affiliated with the golf club
And it’s a few people doing this, they post like five reviews in one day and they come back next week, do the same thing
I think it’s up to the golfers to bring a lawsuit, for this kind of behaviour

That’s not the only person doing that there is like five people doing so. They don’t even write reviews they’re just giving five stars and moving on which is obviously driving the rating to 4.5 even though it’s not
A lawsuit seems likely at this point
