About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

I will be back!
Hands down best course I’ve played. Being from San Antonio I am a bargain shopper, playing the municiple courses out there. Hidden Falls takes the cake by far! From the layout to the upkeep, this place is worth my hour and half drive. I nearly hopped online to book another round after finishing today. If it wasn’t for a few pups at home I would have made the second go around. Needless to say I will be back and next time I may have to make it a 2 day affair.

Hidden Falls is a great layout course. Love the no sand traps. Lots of fairway grass.

Course, very tough and challenging, for the price you can’t beat it.the real problem is with the off course stuff, like the carts being filthy, just wash the the carts inside and out.,have affordable edible and fast food options at the turn. 10 bucks for a hot dog that takes 10 minutes to get, and was not even edible is something that makes me not want to come back. You guys have a great course, just do better with all the other stuff
Pace of play
There were 2 groups of over 8 people playing together which slowed everyone behind them down over 45 mins. With no Marshall to enforce the pace of play it made for a unfavorable pace.
Nice municipal court
Very friendly, relaxed course and shop. Course in good condition. Course not too difficult and fun to play. Last 3 holes, very difficult with lots of water requiring good placement skills. Enjoyed our day here.
Under $20 w/ a Cart!!!
GolfNow deal is unreal. Granted, the course isn't amazing, but it is a fun track that is still in drought mode.

Weather was great. Course is in good shape. Met up with another couple and had a great round of golf.
Hidden Falls in January.
Was a beautiful day so I snuck in 18. Recent rain helped the green. They were true and softer than in weeks past. Fairways were still firm, but smooth. Really enjoyed the day on this course.
Great place to get some January swings in!
The course is obviously in pre-season condition, but the staff friendliness, bargain basement green fees, and fast pace of play make it well worth your time!
