About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Fantastic all the way around
the course is great, the staff is even better, David in the pro shop, is the nicest person you will ever meet, always has something nice to say, great sense of humor. He is just an all around great person and will do everything possible to make sure you have a grwat day of golf

Fun course!
We booked a tee time here with another couple on a Saturday afternoon. The pro shop guy who checked us in was super friendly ! The wives are pretty much beginners so this course was great for them- not much water and no bunkers! The layout was good- decent variety of holes. Greens were very moderate speed. Will definitely play this course next time we are visiting the area.

Solid Course
Course is in great in shape, especially considering it’s mid-August. 5th round here in a month and will continue to play weekly or twice weekly. Greens are actually green (fairly fast), as are tee boxes. And no sand traps! Fun course, overall, that gets better/easier with experience.

Very nice track with a couple of blind tee shots from the back tees, but very manageable course. Great for all skilled levels.

Always worth the drive!
Good round at Hidden Falls, finishing 18 holes in 3hr with two players. Overall, the course is in good shape, but the greens were slow as molasses. Made me wonder if they were cut the day we played. Otherwise everything was good, I just don’t like needing the slam the ball in order to reach the cup.

Consistently enjoyable
This course, with the front nine set in a residential section, provides a great layout for shot-making. The greens are a little furry right now but that's better than shaved and burnt during the Texas Heat. Always look forward to my 18 holes at Hidden Falls.

Pasture Golf
The greens are as bumpy as they can be. No Marshall’s. Pace of play is very slow. There is no rough, no sand traps, and so many different grasses growing on a course filled with weeds you get what you paid for. This is “bubba “ golf at its finest . Super nice staff. They just don’t put any money into this course

Wide open
The grass out here is great, the greens are in great shape. It’s wide open so it’s very forgiving. The back 9 has a lot of water. Gotta manage your way around the course, leave the driver in the bag for much of the back 9. Overall great value. A ton of fun and not a far drive from Austin.

This course is in great shape and was a great value as a hot deal.
The greens were in great shape but very slow which could be because they are not cutting them low for fear of burning them. This is a must play again for me.

Expertly manicured, in great shape everywhere (oh there was one spot on one green). And the fact that it is a public course is truly amazing. O hurried through my roundto keep the pace

Great gem in Marble Falls
First time I’ve played this course, found it on golf now. The course was in very good shape. I couldn’t believe how well this course was maintained. The do plenty to keep it in great shape. Plenty of watering for this time of year.
The lay out, not many holes need a long drive. There are a lot of dog legs that let you work more on shot placement and course management. I only hit me driver on a few holes. The elevation made it fun and had to be mindful of the water hazards, but not difficult. I’ma 22 handicap and had a great time.
