About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Cow Pasture
The Greens were in great shape, just a shame they forgot to keep up with the rest of it. Stuck behind players that would not let go around. It was a joke with the staff about the speed of play. Maybe during the summer this course would be decent, but be ready for a 5 hour round

Excellent greens.
The tees and greens are over seeded winter rye. Fairways are dormant right now. Bermuda is just now beginning to grow. Won't be long until it's plush. We've had plenty of rain recently. Fun track!

Nice course
I enjoyed the course. It was not a tough course but challenging enough. Just enjoyed a peaceful day of golf, with a great pace of play. This time of year the fairways are dry. But the greens were in excellent condition. Staff went out of their way to assist. Very friendly. I recommend this course.

Nice course,
Nice layout , recommend to play with someone familiar with the course. There are a couple of tee shots that are blind shots,, or the water hazards that are not visible. This is definitely a course that you need to play smart golf. I would play the course again.
Play can be slow if you’re behind a 4-5 group. This is a retirement community.

Great value
Nice track, good condition. Greens are consistent and pretty good. Recommend not stopping at the turn for any food....15 minutes for a hotdog. Other than that, very good.

Just a nice place to play!
For late fall the course was in pretty good shape. Greens were well kept and fast! A very forgiving course with no sand traps and rough is still playable. This was the first course my grandfather took me to and was perfect for a beginner.

The front nine was average play, the back nine has lots of water hazards which made it challenging

Above and beyond
After booking my tee time online and showing up to tee off , I realized I would be playing alone . A part time employee was passing by the first tee and asked if I wanted someone to play along with me . Tom from the club joined me and we had a fun day of golf . Thanks Tom for your friendliness.

Depending on which tees you select, the course can give you challenges as do OB and trees off the fairway . Greens were in great shape.
