About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Great Spot
Staff members are extremely friendly and easygoing. Great value for your buck.
VALUE
Not a bad drive from Georgetown on a Friday morning. Course was well above expectations with the current drought going on. Greens were a bit fast but solid nonetheless. Back 9 presents some challenges for the intermediate golfer but layout is very player friendly. Hidden Falls is a solid choice if you’re willing to make the trip out to Marble Falls.

It’s hard for a muni to be in good shape, but these greens and fairways are awesome, even with the usual summer drought.

Great Course - Super Freindly - Great Value - Great Shape
Course was in great shape. No big bare spots anywhere. Greens great.
First time I played here, with city of Austin shutting down their courses for COVID-19, made the 55 minute drive to course, and will go again.
Fun layout. Few blind dog leg holes that will be better to play the second time played once got feel for how they play.
Friendly pro shop. Practice range with separate practice green and wedge area was nice. Especially liked that right next to pro shop is free self service ice machine with filtered water spout to refill water at the turn and after the round. Nice to have on hot summer day.
I played as a single. Round moved fast. One slow threesome let me through with one hole.
Will definitely play here again. Great value for the price.

The staff is the magic of the course
Hidden falls is a great course, but what really makes the course a-1 is the way the staff treats people. The staff dose everything in their power to make sure that you have a great and pleasant day.

Best part was the greens
Came in from Austin to try this course for the first time. Check in was professional and freindly. I ask for my own cart due to COVID 19 and was given one with no problem. The pro shop gave me a book on the course but really didn't give any help in how to play the holes.A couple of holes had different yardage than the signs at the hole. It would be helpful to show how far was the water is on hole 16 and 14. Otherwise everything else was good. Will come back again.

Capping off the weekend
Stopped in to play this course on my way home from a golf weekend with my buddies. Course is okay, not super difficult but did have a decent number of blind tee shots or approaches that made you focus a bit harder and that I enjoyed. Played front 9 in about 1:15 which was fantastic, then hit a wall around hole # 13 that made the last 6 holes brutally slow. Luckily the weather and the perfect greens were enough to make up for the slow end to the round.

First time at Hidden Falls
This was mine and my wife's first time out at Hidden Falls. The course condition overall is in really good condition. Greens pace was very consistent throughout all holes. I'm not a fan of blind shots, but once you play this course, you can manage it accordingly. Overall, we give it 2 thumbs up.

Continuous Improvement
Staff is outstanding and every time I play this course it is in better condition. Great layout. Hidden gem out in wonderful Marble Falls. Well worth the trip. We try to drive out there once a month and every time wee see improvements!!!!

Cow Pasture
The Greens were in great shape, just a shame they forgot to keep up with the rest of it. Stuck behind players that would not let go around. It was a joke with the staff about the speed of play. Maybe during the summer this course would be decent, but be ready for a 5 hour round
