About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Great person, but he is a wealth of information on the game, and store products, and will help you find the perfect match of whatever you need and he will make sure it is the best fit for you and your game. I just bought golf shoes today and sooooo glade I talked to David first, he got it perfect.

Great hometown course
I love playing Hidden Falls. It is has its challenges with water hazards but you don’t have to worry about sand traps! Fun greens that are deceptive without tiers. Just read the break. They can have a drainage problem after rains, but if you keep it in the fairway it’s fine.

Hidden Falls Golf Course
Course layout is good, elevation variation will cause you to work through you golf bag, using almost every club, green are a little slow, but in great shape, and very receptive, fairways vary in width, shot making is a must, a few blind tee shots, but if you keep it in the fairways no problem. Overall this golf course is a must play to test even a low handicappers skill. I must return, it owes me a few strokes back.

Great value - good layout
Pleasant surprise to discover this course. Good variety of holes and a few that I’ll certainly play differently my next time out. Greens were in good shape and relatively slow. Fairways had a few rough spots but largely in good condition. Houses on both sides of a lot of holes, so if you don’t have a lot of faith in your driver, leave it in the bag to avoid OB or worse.

Course is not in great shape
This has been the 4th time playing Hidden falls this year and I was really surprised on the poor condition of the course as compared to the previous visits. Wild grass has taken over the fairways and starting to take over the greens. Fairways were like playing in a cow pasture and greens were really slow. I have played on 40 plus courses in the Austin, San Antonio and Horseshoe Bay Area and this is the only course I have played that is in worse shape at this time of the year than the rest of the courses which have improved condition wise.

A Fun course
Great little course with a variety of holes to utilize all the clubs in your bag. Addition of sand traps would improve the overall layout, but like I initially said, it is a fun course and would definitely recommend it.

My new regular place to play. Beautiful pecan trees and the course is always in excellent condition. Be prepared to use every club in your bag. Highly recommend playing it. I drive from Cedar Park and it’s well worth the drive.

Family Golf Outing
This was not my first time playing here. It was for the rest of my family. I do not have any negative things to say about this golf course. Customer service by the staffs was beyond expectations. We felt welcome from the time we walk in till we left the course ground. Not only I love it but my family is already planning future outing on this course. For those that are skeptical, it is worth your dollars. Course is well maintained from hole 1 to 18. Give it a try. Promise you will not regret.

Fun Course
The course is a fun layout overall. Tee boxes and fairways are in moderate condition, but well maintained. The course is not terribly long, but has several holes that require precision in working around doglegs, some blind. Greens are well maintained, but moderate speed. Prices are very reasonable and at the times that I play, the course is fairly open, so pace of play moves quickly.
