About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Another fun outting
I’ll keep coming back. Do not mind driving in from Austin to play. Worth the gas. Staff is super friendly, course was in great shape, pace of play outstanding,value outstanding. Worth the trip. Thanks
Price is good
Ground was pretty hard so ball rolled forever. Just didn’t feel like a nice course because it was so dry. Absolutely no bunkers on course good?_bad?
Excellent condition
Course was in tremendous condition. Greens were quick and rolled true. Always enjoy playing here and would recommend it to anyone. Course has several tee boxes that makes it a challenge for every level
run down
was a good course, now bare spots all over course, no grass. sent us out in dense fog. ( so dense tat you could not see 50 ft in front). if refused had to lose spot. did not ask if we wanted a credit. this was for a best ball tournament. course was nice once. save your money.
Hill Country Fun
I like to come to this course to get out of the big city hustle. Great by very friendly staff and was welcomed. Course was in good shape and the pace was relaxing and fast moving. The rate was very competitive for a weekend round. Look forward to next round at this course
Nice Course in general
The course itself was fun and entertaining. There are only minor snacks in the pro shop like chips and cookies. There was no food cart going around either. Pace of play was slow (4.75 hours) because we went off after the 12:00 money game of about 30-40 club members. Course was in good shape and greens were very nice and smooth. Tough putting challenges with sloping greens.
forced to tee off in fog
was forced to tee off in fog had prebooked tee time. with golf now. first four holes could not see. course is very rough not playable. middle of fair way dirt grass mix. best you wait on this one i'm a local and this course has gone down hill fast.
Great Course
I’ve played this course from the back tees a little over 6700 yards. Fairways are in great condition, the cartpaths do need improvement usually dirt in most places, and the greens are excellent, big, fast and with lots of undulating breaks. Lots, and I do mean lots, of water on the backside. The course is definitely a challenge but a lot of fun and overall in great shape. Looks like lots of locals play, a seven or eight some was in front of us and I know a five some was behind us so the pace of play is fairly slow. It’s pretty obvious if you’re not a local you will not get much attention from the staff.
Great Improvements Underway
Played for the first time this year and was very surprised with all the improvements going on under the new leadership of Steve, the new head pro. We have always loved this course but were very impressed with how things are improving. We come out from Austin and play this course a couple of times a month since it is a wonderful and fun course. We look forward to seeing how Steve and his Staff continue to improve an already great course!!

course is worn out. it has bear spots to hit of ground most holes. they will send you out on almost any condition. ran , heavy fog to make accommodations for there members. RUN FROM THIS PLACE
