Hidden Falls Golf Club
About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Super friendly, beautiful setting, a new fave!
In hindsight, should have skipped #10 and #11 entirely due to still just realllllllly muddy. One of our new favorites!
I like the layout
I was a few minutes late for my tee time. The pro shop was very accomadating and help me start on 5. I give them a thumbs up for accommodating us. The course was wet due to recent rains but very green. I like the layout of this course it's open and forgiving yet challenging. We were pushed a little on pace by some members. I like to enjoy my round and not play speed golf.
Great value...gated community but open to public
Thought course was well set up. Little soft and muddy in areas in fairway that could've been better, but overall a very nice course.
This Course has a great vews and excelente disign
I enjoy with my friendster this Course, I see they Home a have a New Proshop
great day in March for golf!
after a large volume of rain Monday night, the course was muddy in spots and pools of casual water in areas, but the greens were terrific! course was overall in very good shape, no crowds, was a good round of golf at Meadowlakes in Marble Falls!!
First Time to Play the course
Pro shop staff very friendly & courteous. Course in very good condition. Layout in front nine wraps through neighborhood, back nine totally different. Enjoyed the course very much.
Was nice course to play.
Greens were in good condition.
Nothing remarkable about course.
Front nine was rather boring but back nine with water features was more interesting.
Well worth the drive from anywhere
Having moved here from Connecticut a year ago I try to play courses within an hour of my home. Hidden Falls was 45 minutes from Liberty Hill so I gave it a try. Usually I play a course once and cross it off my "bucket list" if I'm not satisfied with it. Hidden Falls is definitely a course I'll be going back to. It was well worth the drive. Everything about the course was enjoyable. I really enjoyed the greens which were challenging but fair. The fairways rolled nicely and balls were easily found in the rough. I didn't notice any bunkers on the course which is fine with me. The pro shop manager was very courteous and started me out with a yardage booklet which I found very helpful as this was the first time I was playing the course. I didn't happen to have a chance to visit the dining room but had a beer at the end of my round and it was delicious. Can't wait to play this course again.
Hidden pleasure
First time to this course. Best way to arrive is stop at Blue Bonnet cafe first in Marble Falls for breakfast, top notch! Staff was extremely friendly and even gave hints on all 18 holes when we told him it was our first time there. Course needed mowing badly. Greens were fuzzy to the extend you had to slam the putts to get them anywhere near a hole. Even approaches were bushy. We lost balls just off the fairway. Having said that course was layout beautiful and overall well maintained and fun fun course to play. Wonderful quiet setting. Play through housing area but no one was out on porches, which seemed out.
Great value at this hidden jewel
One of my "go to" courses in central Texas. Very nice layout. Very good condition. The greens were running a little faster than normal. Great staff. Great value.
Good value!
I have played this course 4 times since moving to the area in late July. The overall course condition is above average considering the lack of rainfall. It is not a difficult course to play but has several holes where water comes into play as well as holes with blind shots that keeps you on your toes. The rough is deep enough to make it easy to lose a ball or two from an errant tee shot. The staff are very friendly as are the members. Everyone I have encountered on the course made me feel welcome. Green fees are very reasonable for the course. Cart path needs some work but overall a very pleasant experience. I never saw a beverage cart but I played during the week, in the morning.
Excellent conditions
In the middle of the hot Texas sun day and in drought conditions, this course was in excellent shape. The greens looked like a carpet. The ball rolled beautiful and true. The fairways were good and no complaints. I was behind a foursome but at the turn, in true Texas courtesy, I was invited to go ahead of the group and play thru.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
At a regular price the course was a bargain but with the GolfNow price how could you turn down an opportunity to play here especially with how great the course conditions are.
I will be back.
Improving
Greens were better than last time played here. Despite lack of rain course in good shape. Greens putt much better this time around but still have issues.
I like the layout of this course
I like playing here as it near where I live and is not overly expensive.
Average course.
I have played this course many times in the past. I have seen the course in better shape. Right now the greens are not in real good shape overall. The fairways are alright but not as good as they once were. All in all the course is average but great for the money on golf now.
Nice Course, SLOW Weekend Play
I've played this course a couple times on a weekday during the summer, but hit it on a weekend for the first time this past Sunday. We had 3 players, and the pace of play was ridiculously slow. I mean there were 4 & 5 somes all over the place, and not once did anyone offer us through. I don't know if they were locals, but their game was not very good and they took forever. And we did not see a Marshall anywhere, so we were just stuck sandwiched between these groups taking about 20 minutes per hole. It was seriously almost a 6 hour round, and we usually play in 3 to 3 1/2 hours tops. Otherwise, it's a nice course in great shape and plenty challenging. I just do not recommend playing there on a weekend!
Missed the Hidden Falls, but all else OK
Primary difficulty is length, course in great shape.
Needs some fairway bunkers to toughen up.
Great corse
Excellent greens and fairways, tight layout and great layout makes this a very nice course.
