About
Mesquite’s muni, located in the Duck Creek floodplain, was built in the 1960s by Leon Howard. Playing only 6,280 yards from the tips and void of bunkers, it makes for a fun day on the links. In fact, water comes into play only seven times–not as much as you might think for a floodplain course that has been ravaged by floods over the years.
The most challenging hole, No. 13, has water. It’s a 418-yard par 4 that doglegs right and features a tee shot over a creek, followed by a long approach to a tough, narrow green.

Getting there : From I-30 east, take Northwest Hwy. for .5 mile to North Hwy. 67 and the course.

Good old Mesquite.
Not much to say about this one for the money you can't go wrong!! The fairways are in good shape and the greens are always a challenge! Fast and sloping. Just a great city course!
Fun round on a stormy day
The weather was windy with some showers. That being said, we were able to avoid most of the rain and ultimately played a very quick round of golf. The course was in good shape with the exception of the sand bunkers. The greens had been recently punched and sanded but they still rolled okay. Overall, we had a great time and would gladly return.
Good value
Played early during the week so it was a good value. Very walkable course. Condition was fair for the spring. Greens in good condition. Would play again.
Real Texas Golf
Great course to get a round in with your friends and family. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. I play here 3-4 times a month and really have a great time every time.
I was impressed on how they maintain the golfcourse. Tee time price is a very good deal from Golfnoe.
Greens are some of the best in DFW?
All in all, a great course for the $. They need to keep the ball washers full of cleaning solution and some of the drainage needs reworking. The Snack Bar team members are very friendly and do a great job. The management team here does a very good job and the course overall, seems to be improving every year!

With all the rain the course was really soggy. Greens were slow but in fantastic shape. Will want to go back when it dries out.

Course was not in very good condition after the weekend raiin. Muddy and some standing water. "Cart path only" added to the length of the round.
