La Quinta at Quail Valley Golf Course

Played this course multiple times. Was really disappointed and frustrated with the pace of play. Tee time was 10:52 am and didn't even tee off till 11:15 due to stacked groups. 5.5 hour round wait on every shot gets old and is unacceptable.

Greed due to overbooking or lack or marshall keeping groups on pace makes me think twice before booking here again.

Decent layout. A few greens require remedial attention to address dead, choppy zones. No cold-water stations available on front side. Sand traps filled with soil, not sand. Not easy to escape. Greens were fuzzy and slow, but held good approach shots.

City should dedicate funds to repair neglected cart paths and address hard pan patches on a few holes. Fair test of weekend golfer's ability, just don't expect pristine conditions for the green fees rendered.

The course is in fairly good condition. A lot of greens had ground under repair marked around the edges of the greens. But overall, the majority of the putting surfaces were just fine.

No complaints concerning tee boxes, fairways. Bunkers were hit or miss on condition as are most courses these days.

Grill and food...excellent.

Greens are coming in nicely but need to be rolled as they were bumpy. Didn’t help that group ahead had a guy that apparently didn’t know how to lift his feet when he walked across the greens which did more harm than good.

Still a good course and we will continue to play here.

It’s definitely value for the hot deal. Starter is super friendly and helpful. The fairway bunkers we’re full of water from the rains last several days.

Green we’re great 8 par’s but started rain on 12 so had to quit

The greens were a little fuzzy, and the bunkers need drainage work, but overall a pretty course & layout. Rental cart was comfortable, GPS was a nice added touch. The boys and I had a good afternoon.

This course was a good price and it plays very well.

Really enjoyed the round of golf Friday. The course was in really good shape due to recent rains. To that point it rained the day before so the range was closed and there were some muddy spots in the fairways in the sand traps are full but nothing to Courses control. Pace of play was really bad. We had a foursome in front of us that was stacking it two and three groups behind them. And the Marshall didn’t do anything to resolve it.
