About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Impressive shape
Course has the greenest fairways and greens in New Braunfels without a doubt. It stays crowded with good reason.

Landa Park is always in great shape
We were the first off the tee time at 7:20am. We played in 2.5 hours. The course conditions were great. Landa Park does a great job of keeping the course nice and green with grass in the fairways unlike the Alamo Trails courses in San Antonio. We play Landa Park once or twice a month. The pro shop guys are always welcoming and it is the best course we play. We always recommend Landa Park to all our friends. I just wish San Antonio had a quality public course like Landa Park.

Great Round of Golf w Friends
First time there for me - past repeat for a couple of the guys. Some challenging holes - got lucky punching thru the trees, over the creek on 18 to Birdie that hole!

On line booking
Finally found an available tee ti.e for my wife and I.
Booked it..paid with credit card...showed up and were told we did NOT have a tee time.
Then I remembered the same thing happened last year when we were here for the winter.
We have since found some other wonderful courses.
And we can actually get a tee time before 3 or 4 pm.

Good course to enjoy the wilderness and wildlife surroundings
Course is a little short but challenging. It’s a course that requires you to play it a couple of times to appreciate the hazards and water challenges. I would recommend this golf course to any of my friends.

Great public course
The fairways and greens were in GREAT shape. It was really fun to play even though it was incredibly windy.
Always a great time. They need to get the drink cart going, however.

Quirky Course but fun
This course has an awkward layout requiring you to go back and forth across the streets and river. Definitely is a challenge with the abundant water in play. I was disappointed with the lack of sand in the bunkers so try to avoid them at all cost! The fairways were very nice due to winter overseeeding. The greens were fast and the pin placement was Sunday tough! Overall, great value for the money, especially with twilight rates. Could use a faster pace as it took us 4:45 minutes to get in 18 behind a slow foursome. Did not see any course Marshalls.

Municipal Jewel
I've played A Lot of golf all over the US and can honestly say this for the value, layout, and conditions Landa Park was a very pleasant surprise! Not a long course, but what a great design, makes you play your ball. I'll definitely be going back. Being this was the first time playing the course it was a HUGE help having the GPS in cart showing the hole, bunkers, water(and there is a lot of both) so it really came in handy being able to map out distance with the touch screen monitors in cart. Worth the drive, price was reasonable and just an overall enjoyable experience.

Course is in great shape...
Course management did an excellent job preparing the course for the spring. Very nice green fairways and greens roll at just the right speeds. Prices were very reasonable for a weekend round. Definitely plan on coming back to play and will definitely let everyone know to come to Landa Park.
