About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

course and greens in good shape.
The greens are well manicured and kept. The fairways are also very good. Both on green and on fairway the ball rolls very well. Tee boxes are also well kept.

Fivesome - booooooo
Been playing this course for 35 years. First time I’ve seen a five some in the course. This I trash! Caused the slowest round I’ve ever experienced on the course. Please discontinue their practice. Waited after every hole for five to ten minutes and we had a foursome.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Fun and challenging
Solid municipal course. Layout is nice for a fairly flat piece of ground with one uphill par 3 exception, condition is good. A few interesting holes and long enough from back tees for better players. Nice carts and I’ve always encountered friendly people. Enough water to make it a factor. Greens rolled true. Bunkers acceptable and in playable condition. Played in Jan. I will be back.

Great Course, That's why everyone is playing there
It was a great course. Not only was it in great condition, but it was laid out really well too. It was amazing to see all the deer walking around on the golf course. I was afraid I was going to hit one of them, never did though!
It was such a great course, and in such good condition that it seemed like everyone from San Antonio and New Braunfels was there trying to play the course. Pace was a little slow and no marshals around to keep it moving. Over all it was a great course.

Waiting
The golf course and the staff were great, it’s just that I’m not happy due to the fact that I have tried numerous times to get a tee time in the morning and have not been able to. It’s always booked, I have tried different times of the year and it’s always booked. Sadly I won’t be able to share the experience my wife and I had playing there.
