Mineral Mound Golf Course

Had an amazing 18 holes at Mineral Sound with a few buddies. Fairways were a little wet and a few spots were roped off but that’s expected with what has been a very rainy season thus far. The greens and tee boxes were in great shape and the scenic views right by the lake were awesome. Can’t wait to play another 18 there very very soon.

Considering it is January and able to play golf is amazing in itself. The course was in great shape for being winter. The greens were in good shape and had good speed to them. I really enjoyed the course and will be back in the near future. The view of the lake and nature made it a great time as well. The wildlife make the experience better.

We love this beautiful, hilly course. The front 9 runs along the shore of Lake Barkley offering great scenery even if you duff your shot. The back 9 challenges you with elevation changes, woods, and some water. The new greens are in great shape while the sand traps are generally not playable. Worth the drive, time, and money.

Course is in awesome shape, fast greens and everything was in great condition highly recommend!!!!!!!

Best condition I’ve ever seen this course in! Greens were difficult and keep em in short grass.

Very nice state park course with new tiff dwarf greens.Good layout.Better keep it in play because of dense undergrowth.

Played 9/14 and the course was in near perfect condition. The newly installed bermuda greens were very nice and it was almost impossible to find a blemish on most of them. Considering that they just shut the course down in June&July this year to put them in it even more remarkable the shape they were in. The entire course is nice but the front 9 is beautiful with all of the lake views on it. The course is pretty tight and several of the fairways slope towards the trees when you get too far from center but keep them straight and you'll score fine.

For much of the summer the park service closed this course to get it back into shape. After playing all 18 holes I’d say it has been well worth the wait. There are still a few greens that are not 100% but pin placement kept most of these recovering areas out of play. The tee boxes and fairways were in excellent condition. They have officially switched the back and front 9 so if you only play 9 holes go for the gorgeous lake views of the front 9. The course staff was very friendly and on point to keep things moving. What a great day at Mineral Mound. We booked another round before leaving the course.

Great course with awesome views! Some of the greens were rough but they are closing in June and July to put in Bermuda greens. Will definitely go back in the fall.

The day was awesome. The course was wet, but in very good condition considering it is spring.

Loved the course with all the hills. Beautiful lake scenery to top it off! People were so friendly felt right at home there.

Beware if you choose to play this course! Greens are gone, just a crust left on 15 of 18 greens. Fairways are burnt, scalped & brown from lack of water. This course need to be shut down for the rest of the year, reseed the greens and water the fairway. Don't waste your money on this course. I have not played any course this year in as bad a shape as this one. Its a shame too, when its cared for its a beautiful course!

Course layout and views are very good. Many different direction and elevation changes make this a difficult course if you are not accurate with your shots. If you have the time and inclination, you will find many more balls than you lose. Due to a wet spring, the greens are in bad condition. A few are good but the majority have many bare, rough areas. We either moved our balls or just picked up after two putts. Not a course for a high-handicap golfer.
