Great 'championship' par 3 course
I have regularly played at 3 Hammers for around 18 months with my 8 year old son. we both love the course, which is not just your average pitch and putt. Yes there are some short holes (shortest 45 yards) but most are 60-100 yards with the longest being 122 yards.
The course has a great layout and is perfect for learning the game or practising the short game. Greens are small and some tight holes, plenty of bunkers and one water hazard.
The range facilities are second to none and there is also an indoor studio and putting green, although no practice chipping area or putting green on course. The range has protracer, which is good for checking distances and playing few games.
The staff are fantastic, very knowlegable and helpful and there is a good restaurant and American Golf shop.
It does get busy on weekends and during school holidays and pace of play can vary significantly.
Overall thoigh it offers great value whether starting out in the game or honing short game skills.
