Addington Court Golf Centre - Championship Course

I fancied a round after work and decided upon Addington court. Twilight round and trolly just 16 quid so happy with that. Held up briefly by a four ball, but played through... completed the round in 2 hours. Course in good condition, with the exception of the bunkers, could do with more sand and less stones .. greens in good order. As I hadnt played the course before I was unsure of where to go for each hole, I'd recommend the course putting up some additional signage. No ball cleaners on tee boxes. But all tee boxes at good standard. Not particularly challenging but a pleasure to play in the beautiful May evening.

Nice little short 18 hole course, interesting holes. Course was VERY muddy and marked down amenities only because the air hoses were not working.

Course in worse cond ive seen there, shouldnt be charging full price when fairways like roughand greens awful

Had a very good round, busy course but that's expected at weekends. Bit odd seeing people play in jeans etc.

I've been playing at this club since I started golf, two years ago. It's a great place for beginners and I have grown fond of this local course - having played it over 50 times. Others I invite to the course don't think much of it, and I can understand why (bad bunkers - builders sand, bumpy tee boxes throughout the year, some patchy greens, scruffy golfers in tracksuit bottoms etc.) but it will always be a course I like to play because I am comfortable there.

If I were to have any feedback to the general managers it would be;

- Sort the practice green out.

- Put some real sand in the bunkers!

- Be more strict with who plays (I played once with a 5ball in front of me with two sets of golf clubs!)

- A regular presence or wardens on the course.

- Tidy up the clubhouse a bit.

I understand funding is a problem at certain golf clubs - but I wish they could find the funds to sort these problems out. I can honestly say if the above were sorted, I'd have a membership at this course, tomorrow. But not till these issues are addressed.

Great layout condition of course very good but couple of bunkers i went in had a lot of stoney gravel,

This course has the feeling of one on the way out, lack of staff, pro shop moved into the bar (with the kitchen closed), course in poor condition. Greens were very very slow, tee boxes were a mess. Will not be visiting again.

Always great to play at Haddington court (championship course). While the course is relatively short, there is plenty of opportunity to have fun with interestingly set up hole. Only issue was that the course was relatively wet (rained a lot the past few days), but overall it was fun and as usual the staff was welcoming and prompt to help. Excellent value for money and I will continue to come with friends.
