Woldingham Golf Club

I played this course for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Greens were in good condition and pace of play was good for a Saturday. 4hrs 35 mins for a round. Fairways are still very hard but this is not something the course can control. Would play again in a few weeks/months after some more rain. Main issue was the lack of hot food served on a weekend lunchtime. Would have spent more time there if this had been available.

First time playing this course and we were really impressed. Great layout, some tricky holes and the condition was immaculate. Good, open, well maintained course. We’ll definitely be going back!

Picturesque, well kept, and forgiving. Great place to play.

Played 18/09 with a 1:28pm tee off. First 4 holes were fine however, play started to slow down considerably and it took 2.5 hours to play 9 holes. On the 10th hole there were 4 groups of four balls waiting to tee off (we were a two ball). We decided after 20 minutes of waiting that we would call it a day as the back 9 looked like it would take 3 hours to play due to the amount of players on the course. Disappointed it still a nice course to play if you have all day! I did mention it to the golf shop but seems disinterested.

In the conditions this was good, though playing as a two ball we were stuck behind a slow 4 ball for much of the round.

Considering the dry period we have had the course played really well. Our only adverse comment would be the state of the bunkers - way too many stones for a course of this standard.

what a pleasing course to play, tucked in bucolic part of Surrey with hills surrounding. impressive sequencing in the holes ans allows pace to flow very easily. worth a visit and will def return. Club pro very friendly too which makes it welcoming for first time visit.

Lovely setting, breakfast was good, friendly, course was really great condition, greens where surprisingly fast and consistent over the 18 holes

Round took 5:30, there were no buggy’s available and there was not enough cold water for patrons during the 90+ degree heat wave (which was forecasted and predictable). Starter pushed us back a tee time without notifying us. There was little or no ranger involvement on the course. Greens were slow or fast depending on the lie. Fairways were hard and fast.. rough was a manageable level.

Very enjoyable summer's day in the picturesque Halliloo valley. Course in very good nick. Lovely setting to relax with a few drinks after the round.

Great course set up and condition. A joy to play, only small gripe is that they could add more sand to bunkers but a very enjoyable track. Well done, will be back.

Has a couple of challenging holes for the average golfer , good mixture and an enjoyable place to play

Lovely course and friendly staff both helpful and accommodating, great round on a very nice course some testing par 4s and 5s and reachable par3s pace of play steady. Highly recommended it

Played a 3 ball with friends. Course was in fantastic condition. Greens were really true. Spacing out of players was perfect. Not held up once, or anyone trying to push through. Friends said bunkers were in great condition. I opted to stay out 😂. Be playing the course again soon.

Really enjoyed my first round at Woldingham. They’ve got a few real feature holes, that provided a nice challenge. Will definitely be returning.

Difficult to find a better course in north Surrey that offers such high quality conditions for the money.

Despite the recent heat wave and then heavy rain the tees, fairways and greens were all in excellent condition.

We had a late arrival of our group and the staff were very accommodating, allowing us to push back our tee time.

The clubhouse offers great breakfast + post round refreshments.

All staff v friendly.

Highly recommended.
