This 18 hole course is challenging, yet you can score well. Good layout, nice greens and pretty well kept. This was my second time playing here, in consecutive weeks. This will be a regular stop for me for sure. Highly recommend this course!

Ain't God Good
The course, with the exception of the bunkers, was in excellent shape, considering the previous day's and that morning's rain. Kinda frustrated that the refreshment shake was closes when we made the turn at about 4:00. Somehow, the starter paired our threesome with another twosome (not very good players) and that really slowed us down. But, as slow as we were, we caught up with a foursome on number ten. For the most part, the fairways and tee boxes were in good condition, as well as the greens. Go play!!!

Good Time at Waters
Enjoyed the round with two people that I got paired with, course is in great condition and the staff was very friendly and we even got out before our schedule teatime. Great job guys!

Traditions Course
Last time I played here was in early spring and the condition of the course made me nervous. I will say the currently the course is in great shape. Greens have been punched recently and are recovering nicely. Some area courses are still suffering from the damage caused by the February deep freeze, Watters Creek is not one of those courses.
Now with that being said I have NEVER had a good round here. I have a real gift for finding the OB areas here. Maybe this course doesn't "fit my game" or whatever excuse people say when they don't play well. Thank goodness that they have the best practice facility in DFW! The short game area is top notch as well as the 6 hole course. So I will continue to hit the practice facility before heading out to the Traditions course in search of a good score. Cannot wait to play here again.

Greens
Normally 3.5-4 stars but greens were still recovering from being punched which I had no idea about and there were clipping all over the greens. Just disappointed with roll of greens today..

Greens were just aerated so that’s why I deducted stars.
Also no coffee at 7:50 am?? Turn not open so no coffee there either.

No credit even if the play is backed up
I attempted to play 18 holes today. The course was backed up and there was no way we would finish under almost 6 hours. When it was obvious that we would make our next event we stopped after 9 holes and decided to get a rain check. (Almost all pay for play courses will extend this courtesy). The answer is no credit after 9 holes. “It’s a city of Allen policy. Your fee is for the first nine hole and the rest of the fee goes to the city of Allen”??????? Huh????? We’ve never heard of such nonsense that quite frankly makes no sense at all. Either a bad policy or a completely made up story. Either way, don’t expect anything from this place if your slow played. Well except the fact that they will keep your money in the name of the city of Allen. I guess they need the money to pay for their stadium.

Are all the lawnmowers broken?
The fairways are playing like a rough. The greens are playing like a fairway. The grass on the tees is the same length as the rough.
No idea what happened to this course. Extremely disappointed.
