Great little course
Great course to play with the wife or kids. 9 holes keep you occupied and 18 would bore wife and kids since they are not skilled enough.
Course plays well, has a couple long holes, and has a great design.

Recovering from snow storm.
Had a a fair amount of snow storm damage to fairways and tee boxes. We played whites and on some holes we were right behind the senior or ladies tees. Otherwise course plays like it always does. A good test that makes you work hard for every stroke.

Slow play and course under repair
Played behind threesome (as a foursome) and we’ were constantly waiting on tee. No one was In front of them and no marshal moving them along. Almost all tee boxes were under construction. Greens were good but everything else was subpar

Course was in mostly good condition. Some bare spots in the fairways.

They’re working on their tee boxes and the greens are pretty slow, but in really good shape other than that.

Rained Out
Eve though it looked like rain as I was getting ready to tee off I did get to play 7 holes before the rain started. When I asked about a rain check the manager informed me that because I had made my reservation through golf now they were not obligated to give me a rain check and consequently I feel that I didn't get my moneies worth.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at the course. Our goal is to keep the pace of play running smoothly and to never have it too backed up. As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.

Rough time
Looks like the hundred year Texas winter we came through has taken it's toll on this course. Ground under repair on every hole. Just not in real good shape at all for mid April. Long road ahead for them to get it back in the condition it has been in previous years,

I've played this course on numerous occasions and have always praised the condition. The course was in awful shape and either you've gotten a new bad superintendent or the city of Allen has slashed your budget even though you're packed constantly. Browned out grass and barren lies were the only consistent thing on the course. Most every green had a different speed and old poorly cut and replaced holes littered every green. One of the holes had a temporary tee box with a hook lie on a hole you can't hit it left. I've played this course a lot and other than thinking it's difficult in spots have always loved it. I won't be back unless the conditions are addressed properly. There are too many well conditioned golf courses in the are to waste your money on this one.

Awful condition
I've played this course for decades and have always praised the condition of the course. That is no longer the case as the course went from one of the most well maintained courses in the area to other than ridgeview ranch the worst. Poorly cut and replaced old cups litter every green so as it's impossible to get any line for a putt that's not affected by them. It's not just the greens that are the problem as the fairways and tee boxes are in horrible condition also. The funny thing is I see many greens staff around the course so it makes me wonder what exactly they're doing? Highly disappointed
